It was really uncomfortable eating there and we really had a bad experience with their food.

When we entered the place, we felt that we were unwelcomed and no smiles at all. Mas nag greet and mas welcoming pa si kuya guard sa labas compared sa mga servers sa loob. Not sure if the treatment was because we are a same-sex couple or we maybe we looked like people who can't afford the food (context: I was wearing tiangge clothing while my partner is wearing office clothes with slippers)

The empanada was actually good but there was a piece of hair inside it. So they replaced it with a newer one. I guess they need to double check the quality control of their supplier. The staff took photos of the incident and sadly hindi ko napicturan.

Their chicken pie was served cold. Like the insides were still cold. We already saw the pie on the side, we were waiting for it to be served but I took a while when they served it. When they gave us the pie, kuya server was just infront of us staring and waiting for us to eat it. When my partner opened and ate the pie, no steam went out. The server right infront of us then asked us if we wanted the food reheated, I then tasted the pie and damn it was cold. We had to ask the server to heat it twice since on the first reheat the pie was still cold inside. On the second reheat the server just handed us the plate which was really hot. No precautions were given.

Never coming back to that branch again. It so sad that the place was highly recommended by a friend, who's friends with the owner's daughter. Instead of supporting the family business here I am leaving a really bad review for improvements.

This was on October 1, 2024, around 7pm. We were seated by the sofas on the outermost right side of the store. Kindly review your CCTV footages as proof that this is not a...

This is my go-to place for dinner and desserts, and I consistently recommend it for cake suggestions. However, I've experienced some frustrating incidents that I feel are worth mentioning.

Firstly, when ordering by phone, I've had occasions where I wasn't finished placing my order, yet the staff abruptly ended the call. While I appreciate the quality of the food when dining in, I’ve often felt that the environment lacks warmth. The staff members are nice, but there’s an underlying sense that the place isn’t welcoming to new customers. One particular incident that stands out occurred when I visited with my well-dressed in-laws. I was dressed casually in a t-shirt and pants, and when I inquired about cakes, I noticed some staff members were hesitant to assist me. It felt uncomfortable, especially as I was the one making the payment.

Another time, when I visited with a friend who is pregnant, I requested a table for two. Unfortunately, the staff seemed annoyed and were unresponsive to our needs, which added to an already unwelcoming atmosphere.

These experiences happened in different years, but the consistent lack of warmth from the staff has led me to only visit for takeout. While the food is excellent, I now prefer to buy my cakes and leave quickly rather than dine in due to the consistently low...

Catch up lunch with mentor and teammate, April 2*

Convenient location at the corner of Dela Rosa, Perea streets, Makati. The branch seems small with limited seating, but there's indoor and outdoor that can accommodate 20-30 pax total.

There are comfy couches indoor. This will have you sit lower than usual vs the table, so might be uncomfy if going there just to eat and not hangout long.

The outdoor tables have cute tents for shade, and lots of plants. It can get extra hot at times here though.

FOOD Food gives a hearty, comfy and familiar Filipino vibe. Lots of desserts! We absolutely loved the brazo de mercedes (got one slice each) and my mentor took home empanadas, which were available in chicken, corned beef and pork.

We got bangus that had a big serving and tasted like tinapa, in a good way. Egg can be cooked based on your preference. 🍳

DECOR Lots of IG-worthy items too. Decor is like a blue and white modern American home filled with desserts! 🧁

SERVICE Patience and understanding is key because expect slower service on peak time --...

We dined here once way back in 2015 but I forgot what we ordered. All I have in mind is the good dining experience this place had given us. From the homey feels to great customer service, everything was satisfying. One great morning, my partner decided to take away some classic breakfast goodies from Mom & Tina. He bought Apple Pie, Cinnamon Rolls, Ensaymada, Sausage Bread, Ham & Cheese Bread and Cappucino Coffee and shared it with me. Apple Pie - This was deliciously made! The crust didn't crumble in every bite. The presence of real apple slices inside the pie was a big plus! Cinnamon Rolls - Simply delicious! I liked how mild the taste and smell of cinnamon in this bread. Ensaymada - My favorite of all! The bread was soft, milky, cheesy and buttery. Sausage and Ham & Cheese Bread - I like the softness of the bread just like ensaymada. The taste was just okay. The coffee was just okay as well. I'm looking forward to dine here again when the number of people permits us to do so.

Had dinner in this place close to my hotel. I was disappointed though. I ordered the chicken relleno (stuffed chicken) indicated in the menu as a favourite family recipe and comes with coleslaw and java rice. To my disappointment the chicken relleno was extremely salty I did not get to finish it. The coleslaw was good, the java rice did not have any flavour. For dessert I had the mini sans rival - made of meringue, buttercream and chopped cashews and it was delicious. I also ordered for takeout ensaymada (brioche bread topped with butter and cheese) and it was really good. It looks like they are better with baked goods. Service was also poor, I had to call for or try to catch the attention of a server to be served. On my way out a server who was busy chatting with the security guard by the exit door did not notice I was behind him when he stepped back and bumped into me. Staff needs to improve on customer service.
