Run from this place! This Restaurant owner is a disgrace for all these other great philipino restaurants (and owners) in Boracay! She (owner) keeps cheating their clients at every opportunity (read the reviews). I should have read the reviews before we went there. Her is what happened: We wanted to eat Lobster. Before i entered the place i ensured with the waiter that they will offer a solid quality wine by the glass. He ensured this repeatedly which made us go in. They only had these 2dl bottles - but i let it be fine. The problem was that the bottle twist lock leaked before and the wine was oxidated and spoiled. I told them that the reason might be that the bottles spent time in a hot environment (which makes bottles leak because of increased inside pressure) and asked for another one. They brought me a new 7dl bottle of basic chilean sauvignon blanc (retail price below 10$) but wanted to sell me the entire bottle. i offered that i d take two glasses but the rest need to be sold to other clients. They brought me a glass which was dark yellow (not typical for Sauvignon Blanc grape), and - was oxidated again. I assumed something and asked to show me the bottle from which they served the wine. They came back after a while with an almost empty bottle - i poured what was left into another glass and it was most obvious from colour, smell and taste, that what they served me, was again a spoilt wine (not what they showed me before). I asked for the owner and explained all in front of these two most different glasses of wine. The owner quickly got angry and claimed they didnt do any wrong. I accused her of cheating her clients which made her so angry that she started shouting at me and telling me she only has fresh products and did no mistake and she want no money from me anyway. I told her that this is not about money. Its about cheating clients and then shouting at them when she gets trapped. I told her in same volume that she is a cheater and a disgrace for each of the great restaurant owners around her and that she sullies her host colleagues reputation. The Lobster as such was fine, except that it came with a sticky sweet buttery sauce instead of ‚just garlic and...
Read moreI was hoping for a great seafood experience, but unfortunately, it fell short of expectations.
The shrimp was overcooked, making it tough and rubbery, while the oysters were disappointingly small. For a place that specializes in seafood, I expected better quality and preparation.
That said, one highlight of the meal was their pork sisig—it was satisfying and delicious, with just the right balance of flavors and crispiness. It’s a dish I would recommend if you decide to dine here.
However, what stood out even more was the inconsistency in service. The owner was noticeably kind and attentive to foreign guests but didn’t seem to show the same warmth to Filipino diners, myself included. It was disheartening to feel like an afterthought in our own country.
Boracay has so many amazing restaurants that truly showcase Filipino hospitality and excellent seafood. Sadly, this wasn’t one of them. I hope they improve both their food and service to ensure every guest, regardless of nationality,...
Read morePLEASE DO NOT EAT HERE. WE BOUGHT 1 LARGE SQUID, TIGER PRAWNS- 3/4 KG, 1 PIECE OF LARGE LOBSTER AND A LARGE SLICE OF TANIGUE. Let me tell you, they are cheaters! They are dishonest with their customers. We just realized that they cheated us on our orders. We ordered 3/4kg of prawns and we only have 12 pcs. By the way we ordered 1/2 kg from the other restaurant and we have 16 pcs same size. The tanigue for kinilaw which we ordered, well it's actually really big and when the actual kinilaw dish arrived, it was less than we expected. Even the squid is super small, the one we ordered was very large. Please do not eat here if you don't want to be fooled too! They will also charge additional 150 pesos per dish (cooking charge). We paid 5k for 2 person, terrible meal. Dishes are not even good! Over cooked...
