The bar staff repeatedly refused to provide free potable drinking water, blatantly violating the Free Potable Water Act of 2019 (Senate Bill No. 196), which requires all food establishments to offer safe and clean drinking water at no charge. When I raised this issue, the manager outright lied, claiming that Wave Bar & Lounge was not part of Henann Regency Resort & Spa. However, the registration documents displayed at the bar clearly show that the bar operates under the same legal entity as the hotel (ALC Hotel Management Inc.).

This dishonesty from the manager was shocking and completely unacceptable. To make matters worse, two expired permits were prominently displayed at the bar, further demonstrating a disregard for regulatory compliance.

I have stayed at Henann properties in various locations and always appreciated the quality and service, but this experience has left me questioning the integrity of the brand. It is deeply disappointing to see a Henann establishment flout Philippine laws and fail to uphold the hospitality standards the brand is known for.
