WUKONG BBQ HOUSE &HOTPOT — Restaurant in Malay

I am no stranger to Korean food as I have gone to South Korea six times and I am a huge fan of the food. It is a bit harder to find Korean food near Station 3 outside of D Mall, so we cheered when we found the place close to that station.

We order all you can eat meat and hotpot. The meat was excellent, the side dishes excellent and refillable just like in Korea, and the iced tea was perfect with the meal. We had just come from China, so hotpot was not the best but if you prefer heating up ypur cabbage and lettuce for safety, it really is an ideal combo to eat your sangyeopsal.

Let me start with all the great reviews I was sincerely disappointed with the food! Any self respecting Korean would not be caught dead in this place! I m sorry but that is the way I feel. The service was gud but the food quality was terrible. Eggs in a microwave dish not the cast iron dish they should be in??? No vents so the place got smokey had to open the front door which than let the flash come in and the big bug zapper should have been a clue! Overall it was just ok we have visited many Korean restaurants and this was at the bottom of our list not the very worst but it could be so much better!!! Enjoyed all of the food! You have to come and try this place and order everything atleast once to try! Very delicious BBQ and hotpot. All meat is unlimited for a set price of ₱899 for dinner per person which includes the BBQ and hotpot, Very very worth it for the quality and amount of food served. For lunch it's ₱599 per person. The various side dishes offered aside of the meats are unlimited also and very delicious.

Pair the food with their delicious Soju and you're set to have a really good time! The prices are great, the staff are very friendly and welcoming. The atmosphere is buzzing and feels very authentic to the culture it represents.

Don't miss Wukong BBQ and hotpot when you're in Boracay! You'll regret not trying it.
