Well, brace yourselves for a McDonald's experience that's anything but golden. My recent visit to the Boracay branch left my taste buds in mourning and my family scratching their heads in disbelief. Let's just say, it was a McNightmare.
Picture this: a hungry family eagerly orders 8 McChickens, expecting the classic blend of flavors that McDonald's is known for. But alas, what we received were nothing short of dry, flavorless patties that could double as coasters. Not a hint of mayonnaise in sight, leaving our McChickens as parched as a desert oasis. I guess "extra dry" wasn't just a sandpaper setting; it was a culinary mandate.
Now, onto the real comedy show: the ketchup debacle. Our brave souls dared to request a few sachets of ketchup from the illustrious Elaine and her entourage. But instead of a friendly nod or a gracious smile, we were met with eye-rolls worthy of a Hollywood drama queen. And the grand finale? A dramatic toss of 4 ketchup sachets onto our tray (for 8 McChickens, mind you), as if they were gold bars being flung to peasants. Bravo, Elaine and company, for turning condiment distribution into a Shakespearean tragedy.
In conclusion, if you're in the mood for a culinary adventure that rivals a dry spell in the Sahara and a ketchup caper straight out of a slapstick comedy, then by all means, visit this McDonald's branch. But if you prefer your burgers moist and your condiments distributed with dignity, you might want to visit a different branch.
Consider this review my contribution to the Boracay McDonald's Hall of Fame: a place where dreams of mayo-laden McChickens go to die, and ketchup is treated like...
Read moreAs previously mentioned here — a seamless experience with cashless payment. Stringy gives straws and tissues like it’s not allowed)) and yea, just HORRIBLE COFFEE.
My experience: I wanted to order a burger, which turned out to be unavailable (quater). It was available on the self menu at the time of ordering. At the cashier, they told me the burger wasn't available. I spent a significant amount of time coming up with a new order. Frustrating)
Overall, a typical McDonald's with its own twist:
•They forgot to give me seasoning for the McShake.
•The iced coffee was TERRIBLE. DO NOT ORDER UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES! It's not coffee at all. Even 3-in-1 tastes better.
•They gave me a straw for the iced coffee on the second attempt. How are you supposed to drink it without a straw when the ice melts and water rises to the top? But in any case, it's just impossible to drink with or without a straw. Just a horrible drink. I can't even call it coffee.
Regarding cleanliness: It seems previous comments were taken into consideration, and the staff is really focusing on cleanliness. I can't say I was sitting in dirt. The floors were being cleaned, and the self-service screens were cleaned in front of me.
Overall, it's not such a terrible McDonald's; the staff is making an effort. They forget some things, but it's not the end of the world. Perhaps they count the straws as well) If you're craving the taste of McDonald's, it's worth coming here.
Just don't order the iced coffee!! Don’t! It doesn't even look like coffee in color)
UPD. an don’t order an ice cream) it’s a joke, taste nothin...

If I could give zero stars, I would.
On December 6th, 12:30 AM, I walked into McDonald’s Boracay expecting the reliable service and quality that this brand promises worldwide. What I got instead was a frustrating, disrespectful, and downright unacceptable experience.
I ordered a meal with a simple request: no ice in my drink. When I received my cup, it was half-empty. Assuming it was a mistake, I politely pointed it out to the staff, only to be met with something that took me by surprise—a rude, defensive outburst from the employee. Rather than offering an apology or a solution, she shouted at me, claiming that it was because there was no ice.
Are customers now punished for preferring their drinks without ice? Is this how McDonald’s trains its staff to handle simple feedback—with hostility and disrespect?
This is not just about a drink; it’s about principle. Customers deserve to be treated with basic respect and receive what they pay for. Half a drink for the full price is a scam, and being shouted at for addressing it is a disgrace.
McDonald’s, you need to take a hard look at what’s happening in your Boracay branch. Your staff’s attitude was beyond unacceptable, and your service standards have clearly fallen through the floor.
I hope this review serves as a wake-up call. Your reputation is built on consistency and respect—both of which were sorely lacking here.
Fix it.
Sincerely, A deeply...
