I recently visited an Italian restaurant and while it was a good experience overall, I have to admit that it didn't leave a lasting impression on me. Perhaps it's just my personal taste, as I'm not particularly fond of European cuisine. However, I'd like to highlight one standout dish that caught my attention— the Truffle Fries. They were undeniably delicious and even won over the hearts of my family, including the kids.

AMBIENCE It's a pretty restaurant and lots of space is available for dine-in. Location is one of those paths between the old and new parts of Shangri-la Mall.

FOOD We kept it simple and only ordered a regular-sized Sicilian Salad, which was pretty filling for two people already. It has romaine, mangoes, red grapes, walnuts, and creamy anchovy dressing. Every bite was very tasty and we had an abundance of free bread to go with it.

SERVICE Even near closing time, we got excellent service thanks to the delicious food of the chefs at that late hour plus our server Marj. Dinner Thursday 26 December 2024. Italian themed restaurant with quality Italian style food and would rate Italianni's at 4 and a half. Shared different dishes with the family with calamari starters to large pizza and spaghetti and rib eye. Sicilian salad with walnuts, grapes and mango made a good accompaniment with the main courses. Rib eye steak had some fat on one end but the meat was juicy and tender. Chicken piccata was acceptable. The pizza was a class above the S&R pizzas.
