If you’re looking for a satisfying Italian American meal with great value, Olive Garden in Shangri-La Plaza is definitely worth a visit. Known for its warm, inviting atmosphere and generous portions, it offers a variety of options that cater to both individual diners and groups. One of the standout deals is the Lunch for Four promo, which offers exceptional value for PHP 2,495.
This deal includes two large entrees to share, along with unlimited soup, salad, and their famous breadsticks for four people. We opted for the Tour of Italy, which features a mix of Chicken Parmigiana, Lasagna Classico, and Fettuccine Alfredo—each dish well-seasoned and delicious. We also tried the Roast Herb Chicken, which was equally flavorful, tender, and perfectly cooked.
The unlimited soup and salad are great starters. The signature Olive Garden salad pairs perfectly with the hearty soups, while the warm breadsticks add a comforting touch. For dessert, there are options to share, rounding out the meal with a sweet note.
Ambiance: The restaurant maintains its signature cozy, rustic charm with wooden accents and an open, relaxed dining space, making it ideal for both casual meals and celebrations. Service is friendly and attentive, ensuring a pleasant dining experience.
Best Time to Visit: The Lunch for Four promo is available Monday to Friday from 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM, making it a perfect option for a group lunch or a casual hangout. It’s a great way to enjoy a filling, well-rounded meal without breaking the bank.

Read moreThis was my first time experiencing Olive Garden in Asia, and I was pleasantly surprised to find that it’s only available in the Philippines within this region. The restaurant's ambiance is warm and welcoming, and the staff are exceptionally friendly and attentive. They go out of their way to ensure a pleasant dining experience, although the background music and overall noise level in the restaurant made it somewhat difficult to hear our waitress clearly.
As for the food, the signature breadsticks lived up to their reputation—just as delicious as the ones I’ve had in the U.S. They were perfectly soft, buttery, and paired wonderfully with the unlimited servings of fresh salad and comforting soup. This combination alone is enough to ensure you leave feeling full and satisfied.
I started with the Shrimp Fritto Misto as an appetizer, which was a highlight. The shrimp was perfectly deep-fried, retaining a crispy exterior without being greasy. For the main course, I ordered the Shrimp Scampi Pasta, but due to a mix-up in the kitchen, I received the Chicken Scampi instead. Despite the error, the dish was flavorful and well-prepared, with the sauce being flavourful yet not overly oily.
Overall, my experience at Olive Garden in the Philippines was very enjoyable. The food quality is consistent with what I’ve come to expect from their U.S. locations, and the service, despite the noise, was top-notch. I would definitely recommend visiting this Olive Garden if you're...

Came in with high hopes, left frustrated. Olive Garden Shangri-La seriously missed the mark — not because of the food quality, but because the service was a mess from start to finish.
🍝 Lasagna Fritta – We ordered the group serving, but what arrived looked like a solo portion. Turns out the staff punched the wrong item. No proper explanation, no real effort to correct it. For a restaurant that prides itself on comfort food, the experience was far from comforting.
🥗 “Unlimited” Salad – Promoted as unlimited, but in reality? We only got two refills after long waits and multiple follow-ups. Felt like we were being rationed. Not a good look when you advertise abundance.
👎 Service – Easily the worst part of the visit. Waitstaff were hard to call, inattentive, and slow. It was a struggle just to get basic requests across. There’s a clear disconnect between the brand reputation and the service on the ground.
✅ Final Verdict: Food’s okay, but when basic service fails, it overshadows everything else. Not rushing to return. 2/5 – Disappointing, especially for the price and brand.
