Great local place right off the touristy newport blvd. We tried the Kare Kare (crispy pork belly), fried chicken and a dish with crispy minced meat with a fried runny egg on top and chillies (apologies for not remembering the local names). Amazing flavours, nothing was over-seasoned, artificial or overly spicy and everything was freshly cooked. The staff helped us to order by showing us photos of the dishes on their phone. Discovered this gem through my sis… The Kare-Kare is not only a sight to behold but it’s sooo good! Was supposed to skip the rice over dinner but how could I resist? The best Kare Kare I tasted, thus, giving this top stars!! The binagoongan is superb with the crunchy delicious crispy pork with just the right amount of sweetness and saltiness.. The pansit topped with bagnet is irresistable! I have a habit of eating pansit with rice, yeah what a combination!!

I came by to visit since the hotel I am staying at is near. I was looking for home cooked meals and found this nearby. The reviews here are true. The food here is legit. I had the mixed pancit, and it was good! Service is fast, too, despite being packed with people. The atmosphere could use some improvements.
