Giligan's — Restaurant in Pasay

We had a really bad experience in your restaurant at the branch here in newport , actually it is just happened this time around 3 pm we arrived there. at first i ask already the waiter to gave us water so it gave us while we are choosing the food, then we ordered sinigang, combo plate of rice, pork with sweet &sour fish fillet and 1 rice. i ask again for the another water then say will get but he did not i still wait in few minutes because maybe he is busy but not i saw him go directly to eat with other waiter, then i just past that happened, i ask the other one girl for the cold water then i waited around 10mins still did not gave me water just i saw her eat also in the cashier area so i call her again to gave me water then atlast she gave water , already not in a mood then our food was arrived but there is no sinigang , so i ask him i ordered sinigang we are already wait long time that is my first one to order then just told me he will gave it in few minutes, when sinigang arrives irs just 3 mins already done. it was so suspicious so i checked the soup it was look like left over sinigang the bowl was not clean and there is a dry soup in the side area of bowl, the fish belly was so broken and there is a pechay only, tomatoes and 1 chili, we often eat that sinigang in giligans newport so we know what is the proper appearance and what is in the soup complete vegetables looks new cook, i did not take the photo or video of that one so i really regret why i forgot to take evidence, so we return it and tell him we know its not new, then directly tell us he will change it then he make it a bit longer around 5to7 minutes then gave ua back the sinigang, what the hell they did not make new they just clean the bowl but inside still the same so we got not interested anymore to eat so we told them we will not pay the sinigang only the other food we will pay then they accept, i have proof here video , i will just screenshot some of the video because i can't put in here only photos allowed to put, make action about this , your waitress attitude and the one wearing white polo also! its really bad experience in...

Appalling cold food. Sizzling Pork dish was barely warm and the mayonnaise in it tasted sour. It was not sizzling !!

Breaded chicken pieces tasted old and were freezing cold.

The Kare Kare dish was watered down and disgusting. Probably had two peanuts in it at best. Tasted like something you would get in a prison - just pure slop. Served Cold !

Why is it in Philippines that many restaurants cannot serve hot food?

We left most of the food and walked out. I resented paying the bill and only did so because the wait staff were so nice and were clearly doing their best to please.

Dirty surroundings. No AirCon working.

The owners of this place should be ashamed of themselves.

I was so excited for this place! The expectation was a bit high since it was a fancier spot, rather than walking the next block over and getting food for like 40php vs 400php. I knew I wanted Sisig and probably veggies so when the Kare Kare had veggies only option I figured that would be perfect.

Let’s talk about the wait time – I was told 25mins but it took about 40mins. The Sisig was cold and soo salty I was super puffy the next day. Kare Kare hardly had any veggies and didn’t have much flavor. Overall- I was very disappointed. Personally, I wouldn’t waste my time...
