Cafe Astoria delivers an amazing daily buffet for breakfast, lunch, and dinner that stands as the single most comprehensive and diversified hotel buffet I have tried in Metro Manila. The quality is always top-notch, maintaining consistent excellence across the extensive selection that caters to every palate and preference. The unique factor is that Astoria Cafe is the only breakfast, lunch, and dinner buffet that changes menu everyday!
The buffet's breadth and depth showcase Cafe Astoria's commitment to providing exceptional variety while never compromising on preparation standards or ingredient quality. This consistency across such a wide range of offerings demonstrates remarkable kitchen management and culinary expertise.
I love love love the range of Ube drinks and desserts that Astoria offers, with my personal favorite being the Ube Cappuccino! This creative beverage perfectly captures the beloved Filipino flavor in an innovative coffee preparation that highlights the restaurant's ability to blend traditional tastes with modern presentations.
The extensive ube selections demonstrate Astoria's understanding of Filipino preferences while elevating these traditional flavors through sophisticated preparation and presentation techniques.
Additionally, Astoria's range of takeaway gourmet dishes, party bilao-s, and desserts makes it my go-to destination for any event where I need to bring top quality food and gifts. The convenience of high-quality catering options ensures that Astoria serves not just as a dining destination but as a reliable partner for special occasions and gatherings.

Read moreThe place is small but elegant. The food was decent and cooked to perfection.
Drinks: brewed coffee, hot chocolate, tea and fruit tea.
We were on the couch and it was so comfy. It has a rectangular pillow supporting our back and I just keep lying down. Hahaha.
The pares beef is the best. Perfect talaga.
Croissant was my favorite, same with Niu by Vikings in Podium. Perfect with real butter not the Dairy creme type that I always have. 😂😂😂
Chicken noodle soup was warm and comforting. Sarap!
The bacon is the crispy and crunchy type. I like better ung soft type na usually nilalagay sa burger.
All tye foods are good pero cempre some will really stand out based on our personal preferences.
Waiters were very attentive and accommodating.

Lovely selection of the Filipino hits and western style breakfast offerings. Recommend the arroz con caldo and the ube champurrado. The calamansi does not seem to be well managed as they seem to reuse from leftover from days before and there is a mixture of used and unused calamansi. Good accessibility but the washrooms are a good 150 meters or so walk along a hallway where you have a gauntlet of masked interns on either side practising putting their hand to their heart and saying Mabuhay or good morning. And you get the same on the way back. Still a recommendation for good arroz con caldo. Friendly and attentive staff,...
