We definitely agree that Minami Saki is the best Sushi Restaurant in Manila. The “Aburi” method that they have introduced was unforgettable. The special sauce for their sushi was intense and mouthwatering. Overall it was amazing and we really loved it. Make sure to order this particular specialty. On the other hand, do not miss their complimentary appetizers (we loved the Salmon Salad), Kaki Papaya Yaki for fresh oysters (which I also consider the best in Manila) and some of their rice meals like the Katsuju.
Service was excellent. The people working in the restaurant seemed to like what they were doing. They can describe each dish clearly without hesitation and they were very much attentive to our needs. Add to that is that the staff were all well-groomed and pleasing to look at. It’s best to eat here for a romantic date, a family gathering or to celebrate a...
Read moreAmazing staff and ambience, delightful food, awesome presentation. We loved everything we ordered! The 15 pc sashimi with 5 different kinds of sashimi, papaya with oysters was to die for! I wanted to order some to go, but unfortunately, the chef didn’t allow it as it might affect the quality of the food, which was completely understandable. The beef with mushrooms were really good as well- I ordered another to go :) The spicy salmon roll had a good crunch to it. Also, we had bottomless hot tea. Plus, complimentary dessert on Valentines Day. There was a point during our dinner when my husband and I were trying to kill a mosquito. Our server, Jomari, was very apologetic and offered a candle. Two thumbs up Jomari for an exceptional service all throughout our dining experience. Great service really makes a huge difference. Overall,...

Dined here for Valentines and it was perfect. The sashimi was the freshest I've had so far at a restaurant. It was also my first time trying squid sashimi, and well sorry octopus I'm with squid now.
All the rolls I had to savor slowly. That's the kind of rolls that was served. This isn't the restaurant that serves burgers and sushi rolls at the mall. No, this is the place you go to because you can't fly to Japan for sushi kind of place.
I skipped sharing the tempura, I was there for sushi. The mochi, unfortunately, was for sharing.
I wish Astoria would give me free breakfast at Minami's.
We also gave our server a Valentines gift for the wonderful service and...
