New Update: Today is Tropical Hut's Anniv. They're taking 50% off on their hawaiian glee bringing the price down to 78.5php The outer appearance is not appealing. They served it (cold) on a plate, maybe anticipating a lot of orders. Downside is as i mentioned is it was served cold, and without a wrapper. Since it aint wrapped, it was hard to eat it without getting messy and dropping the loose ingredients while you bite. The weight is a bit satisfying on the hands, you feel some volume to it. The pineapple added significant amount of weight into it. The experience wasn't celebratory the way an anniv celebration i think should be. And they were not verbally offering the promo. Its up to you if you see or miss the poster.

By the way, just a tip to spice up your spaghetti experience. I put hot sauce in the spag. Makes it more exciting and satisfying to eat. Could just be me, but for people who like chili, i recommend that you try it. A simple hack :)

Update: today i tried the fish filet sandwich. The fish flavor is there, the tartare mayo lacks flavor. The fish is thin, lacks meatiness. This sandwich is not recommendable. Go with the reliable ones like spag, and...

I had a very frustrating experience at Tropical Hut Pioneer today. I was feeling extremely dizzy and couldn't eat my food, so I had to lie down on one of the chairs to rest. However, the crew member on duty saw me lying down and instead of showing any concern or asking if I was okay, he proceeded to make loud noises by clanging trays, utensils, and even the trash bin nearby.

This only made my dizziness worse, and I felt completely disregarded. The staff didn't show any empathy or care for my situation—no one asked if I needed help or if I was feeling alright. Instead, they seemed more focused on waking me up in a very inconsiderate manner, which was the last thing I needed at that moment.

I understand that they may not have known what was wrong, but basic customer care and concern were completely missing. I left the restaurant feeling upset and neglected, which is the last thing anyone wants when they are already not feeling well.

Tropical Hut should train its staff to be more attentive and considerate to customers, especially those who may not be feeling their best. This experience has left me very disappointed. It was 1pm saturday...

Its been a while since i ate at tropical hut. when i say awhile it means decades lol Had breakfast here today since my friend said that his fave beef tapa meal is by tropical hut, specifically this branch. So after our shift we thought why not try it today. The place is old and outdated but not in a bad way. It actually brings back alot of childhood memories and got us talking about it. Now the food, it felt alot like its a home cooked meal and not fast foody. I got the beef tapa which was perfect with the malasado egg. The best part was the meal came with coffee AND pineapple juice. Yes, it came with both, its not an OR choice lol another best part, coffee is refillable and its goooood coffee.
