I would like to sincerely commend Miss Penny, Miss Jodie, and Mister Ed for their outstanding assistance in preparing for our surprise event. From start to finish, their dedication, commitment, and hands-on support went above and beyond what we hoped for.

A special thanks to Miss Penny, who truly exceeded all my expectations. I shared my vision for the backdrop and decorations, and she brought it to life perfectly — even better than I imagined! Every detail was thoughtfully executed, making the celebration extra special. Throughout the event, Miss Penny kept checking in and asking if we needed anything else. She made sure we felt comfortable and well cared for with her kind and thoughtful ways.

Miss Jodie’s excellent supervision of the team ensured that everything ran smoothly, while Mister Ed’s warm and considerate gestures made all our guests feel welcome. It felt as though they anticipated our needs without us even having to ask.

The function area was spacious and comfortable, and we appreciated how senior-friendly the venue was, along with the convenient parking. We ordered the catered package, and although we were initially worried about the food quality with a large order, Gerry’s Grill did not disappoint. The food was excellent — just as good as always, with nothing compromised despite the volume.

I’ve had fresh foods ever since (since I grew up by the sea) but the food here tasted fresh! (I don’t know if they are delivered frozen, I’m just assuming it since this is Metro.

The Bangus texture doesn’t seem like it was frozen at all and was just thawed! I usually don’t like my rice with mayo/creamy sauce. But the salad that came with the bangus was really good paired with rice!! I was flabbergasted!

The baby squid was so savory! Must try! (I ate half of it btw!)

The tuna kilawin was super good! If you eat everything even with its sauce, you cannot taste the vinegar and the onion that much, it blended very well!

The tuna belly, which my mom liked was goood! The outside was flavorful but inside was close to plain (I expected it since the cut was big)

The laing and kangkong! Laing was out of this world good! Kangkong tasted like you can buy it from any karinderia tbh, but still good! Paired with rice and their sauce, yummy!

Their best seller is Pompano, but it didn’t hit the spot for me. Or maybe because I just take it out and ate it after 2 days 😅 BUT I TRIED EATING SOME WHILE WE WERE STILL DINING, the meat was so soft! Reminds me of this chinese fish dish but this one is grilled version!

THEIR SAUCE AND ATCHARA! 100/100!!! I wanted to buy for myself, too bad they don’t sell it despite having it on the menu! (Except for atchara)

We spend 3000+ for 3 of us. But you can spend less, I just miss seafood so I went...

Gerry’s Morato has completely exceeded my expectations! Their service is no longer questionable, always excellent and consistently demonstrates added value care for their guests. From the warm welcome to the attentive staff, every detail reflects their commitment to customer satisfaction.

The newly marketed food offerings are an absolute game-changer! My favorite Kansi, Lumpia Sampler, Flantastic Four, and Crispy Baby Ribs are simply superb. Each dish is bursting with flavor and crafted with care. Honestly, what else can I ask for? The latest menu is a perfect blend of tradition and innovation, and I’m eagerly looking forward to seeing these offerings rolled out to other branches.

And of course special shoutout to Mam Maricel and the entire Tomas Morato team—you are the real champions of operations! Your dedication and passion shine through in every aspect of the dining experience. With such incredible food and service, I’m confident that demand will double up in no time. (Get ready for a paygrade raise hehe)...
