RACKS SM North EDSA — Restaurant in Quezon City

I was extremely disappointed with my dining experience here. The place was almost empty, yet the service was terrible.

First, the java rice was spoiled—it had a bad smell and was overly sticky. I showed it to the manager and asked for it to be replaced, but they only offered garlic rice instead. It seemed like they ran out of java rice.

Next, my child found a black object on the plate. The manager said it must have come from the pan, which is very concerning.

All the staff were busy gossiping and no one was paying attention to the guests. I had to raise my hand multiple times just to ask for assistance, and even when a staff member clearly saw me, she just ignored me and walked away.

They offered mushroom soup while we waited, but I couldn’t eat it anymore. If they were paying attention, they would’ve noticed I already had soup as an appetizer after I made my complaint. I even told them not to serve it, but they did anyway.

To the management, please check your CCTV footage from 6:00 PM to 6:45 PM, near the corner area. We were a group of three—two kids and one adult.

the staff was not accomodating ,i asked for some water they just nod no water was served so we decided to buy a bottled water outside at nearby stores while waiting for our order , i call for the staff to take our order 4 times to different staff before they take my order so rude and unproffesional.they wont even smile while taking our order,there face was pissed off no greetings were made and no thank you... and it took so long for our foods to be served... the plates was piled at the edge of the table and they remove the steak sauce at our table without asking me.. then when the food was serve they dont ask whose order was it so i was the one who distribute it to my children as per the steak sauce werevthe one who get it cause no one wants to accomodate us..worst experience ever.. worst service..worst staff..dont wanna go back there...

We dine last Jan. 5, 2025. The service is great as always per our experience. However, the food served to us is very different to how it usually taste, in a negative way. Clam Chowder - too sour, it's like they squeezed to much lemon/lime. It was returned. But the replacement is still a bit sour. Angus Beef - they put the salad w/ vinaigrette dressing in the same plate with the steak. The angus steak ended up tasting like vinaigrette dressing. Before, it was served in a separate plate. Garlic rice and Fries - we order this for our 2 year old. This is the last food that arrived after a follow up. Almost 45 minutes after we ordered it.
