If you're looking for a convenient place to grab a cup of coffee near Parkwest in BGC, the Starbucks there is a great option. As someone who used to work in the area, I found the proximity to be very convenient. The location is easily accessible, and there's plenty of parking available nearby.
One of the things I appreciated about this Starbucks is how roomy it is. There's ample seating available, so you can comfortably enjoy your coffee and catch up on some work on your laptop. The atmosphere is also very conducive to productivity, with a calm and quiet ambiance.
In terms of the coffee itself, Starbucks never disappoints. The baristas are friendly and knowledgeable, and they always make sure to prepare your drink just the way you like it. The menu is extensive, so you can try something new every time you visit.
Overall, if you're in the area and need a pick-me-up, the Starbucks near Parkwest in BGC is definitely worth a visit. Whether you're grabbing a quick coffee on the go or settling in for a longer work session, this location has...
Read moreLike all Starbucks in the Philippines, it's owned by Rustan's Corporation. A law that mandates foreign entities be owned by Filipinos only creates a dilemma as it ensures money is kept within the richest Filipino elitist family dynasties. This keeps the money within the inner circles and keeps the poor very poor.
I digress.
It's a large establishment. Staff are rude. I was asked by the staff, "What would you like to order, sir?". Then, as soon as I was about to open my mouth, she did a complete 180 and ignored me. Apparently, a new staff member is taking over her cashier post. She didn't acknowledge me and left me behind as she conversed with the guy taking over her post (which I found out later was her boyfriend), as if I wasn't in front of her face.
The pure matcha latte was poorly done. It had plenty of matcha "balls" insid, which was not pleasant to drink.
Not recommended. Go to the uptown mall Rustan Starbucks instead. Staff there have urgency to speed up service when busy and they communicate with...
Read moreThis Starbucks branch, compared to others in the same area, has a very soothing and quiet atmosphere (unless it's rush hour). The staff is superb, the food is great, the air conditioning is wonderful (bring a jacket because it can get REALLY cold!), and the service is just divine!
Perfect for students because the two benches at the front have 4 outlets on each side (8 per bench in total) and there is free wifi available for an hour! It isn't as crowded as other branches, which is perfect in my opinion. Trust me, you won't regret it here!
Edit: They recently removed the free wifi last year, so bring your own hotspot and make sure you've got mobile data. This is still the most hospitable Starbucks I've stayed in to date, so even without the free wifi, it's...
