We came from Amsterdam to spend a couple of days in Krakow with my father and brother. Heard about this place before so we decided to give it a try. We ordered 3 Hash Browns and 3 beers. Soon we were served 3 beers and 2 Hash Browns. My brother kept waiting for his dinner while me and my father started eating, because we were really hungry. After a while we told one of the waitresses that we are still waiting for one more Hash Brown for my brother. Meanwhile me and my father were already done with the food, portions are not huge anyway. After a long while the waitress who took our order came to our table and asked "What's wrong" we told her that we ordered 3 of the same food and served 2. She told us that she heard two, not three. And shockingly she said "You should have told abut it earlier". So essentially it was our fault her not being able to perform her job.

If she said "Oh I'm sorry, your food is coming right away" it would be all ok, we are all human and we make mistakes. But if you blame others for your mistake in such a miserable way there is not much to do. We paid the bill and left immediately then went to another place for my brother to eat his dinner.

I find it absurd to comment about food and ambiance where basic human...

We were looking for place to eat dinner in Kraków, something traditional with great beer. We found this place near place we stayed over night. From outside it looked inconspicuous, but when we got inside, we were amazed by the interior and the atmosphere. The whole place is divided into 2 sections - bar and restaurant, which are divided by glass wall, so it is quiet in restaurant section. We ordered źurek soup, tomato soup and traditional polish meat plate for 2 people, every meal tasted perfectly and portions were huge. We tasted their own beer (this place is also brewery) and it was great and they had many variants. We even bought take-way beer for our friends home. Our waiter for that evening was named Sergej and we were really satisfied with his attitude, kindness and great service. He always asked if everything is alright and how we liked the food and drinks. We talked to us and in the end he offered us shot their home-made liquor made from dark beer, which was really nice of him. Definetely...

I was surprised with this restaurant. It doesn't look very good from outside but it's surprisingly nice inside. The waiters are nice, helpful and talkative (in a good way). We made a mistake, each of us ordered soup and second course. The dishes are very big! I recommend taking soup and second course but shared for 2 people. Really we are soup and half of second meal and we were full. Food is good, but not amazing. Everything tastes a little bit like homemade. The price is very good for the amount and taste of food you get. Big variety of beers is an advantage as well. I recommend to go to there in the Friday evening with friends order some beers, starters and one or two main courses and you will be satisfied and happy ;) Ask for happy hours and deals, for example, everyday until 16, there's discount for a beer in big tube (few litera) it's such a bargain!!! On tuesdays I think there's wienerschnitzel...
