Mañana — Restaurant in Krakow

Nothing to compare with Spanish food, overprice, small portions, croquetas of jamon they were ok but nothing special, small kalamary they were ok but it came not warm more or less cold, prawns cold as well, lack of taste of prawn and of sauce, far away from real Pil pil prawns. Size of plate of 44 zlt it was the size of a portion of tapa in Spain more or less. Wine and wine glass was nice. Churros nothing to compare to the ones from Spain neither churros or porras wherever they are trying to imitate. Crema Catalana was my favourite and it was the best. Patatas bravas which I saw in other table was small as well for the price of 20 zlt that they had. Lack of latin or Spanish atmosphere, small place , one table next to each other. Lack of proper Spanish music. Owners or chef should take a trip to Spain and eat tapas there to get and idea what tapas are. Waitress was nice and was asking if everything was ok. First time here but definitely not the last! Empanadas with duck filling and fermented garlic sauce are next level. They are surprisingly big as well!

Paella's was fine - I'm not the greatest fan of sea food but I can say for sure that everything was fresh. No doubt about it. Rice was nicely spiced, not overcooked - good texture.

The Iberica plate was filling - no idea what was the marmalade from but it was perfect with cheese.

For dessert we had cheesecake and crema castillo - first one wasn't very sweet or heavy which is good and second one had strange, kind of exoting taste - not common in polish cuisine.

Pretty bad. It's not fresh stuff, it's re-heated stuff (maybe even via microwave). Probably the worst bravas I ever had, and while stuff like croquettes get a pass, make sure to stay away from the seafood. Gambas and calamares in particular are just disgusting. The service is kind and efficient but can't make up for the bad food. We got tricked by the doctored pics and the large amount of positive reviews, but don't be fooled : these reviews are either paid for or written by people who can't tell the difference between quality and junk.
