A proper Polish experience, just off the main square. It may be a bit challenging to locate, nestled down an alley between two other establishments, but if you're in search of genuine 'home style' Polish food, this place is worth the effort to find. Very good, simple and authentic food with a concise one page menu. It's no frills, in and out, always fresh and popular with the local people. It can get busy as it's not a large place but turnaround is quite fast so wait a few minutes and a seat will become available. Don't be scared to share a table (think Wagamama). Very affordable and our limited Polish language skills were not an issue. I can recommend the pork ribs steamed and the pork goulash. We revisited in December 2022 and were not disappointed. The last picture is the menu from...

Wow this is exactly the place I was looking for the moment I arrived in Kraków. We arrived a few minutes before noon and there were already 6 people waiting for the door to open (the entrance is from within a courtyard). As soon as we sat down the place was FULL with a queue all within 10 minutes. We knew we hit jackpot when it was 99% full of locals. We were served promptly and had delicious meals brought out within minutes. Home cooking at its finest at unbelievable value. We had an order of cabbage rolls, pirogies, chicken and some side salads for only 85PLN. We could have fed a small army but I wanted to try a few things. English menu too. Highly recommend. Will...

Highly recommended. If you want to try the taste of a typical polish homecooking, this is THE PLACE. Rosół (meat broth) is just as my grandpa used to make it. Kiszka (blood sausage) and pierogi z serem (sweet pierogis) were delicious as well. In Kraków, there is plethora of mediocre places that try to lure tourist with offerring supposedly typical polish cuisine. Dob't get fooled, this is one of the few places in Kraków that can really stand up to the promise. Moreover, this place has been around for a while now-my friend who lives in Kraków took me here saying "let's go to the place where my parents used to eat when they...
