Small little caffe/bar almost right next to the Wawel castle. Visited summer time so sat outside in their beer garden to enjoy a glass of wine and admire the architecture. Drink menu descent, service was prompt and friendly. Haven't tried food so can't comment on that one. This place has an interesting history and a tradition. The nearby Wawel Cathedral's Bell Ringers met here for beer and they even have special beer mugs with their names. All mugs are nicely displayed on two walls inside the cafe. The only thing that disappointed me was the toilet facility. Just one toilet for all the cafe guests! So be prepared to queue during busy times. No disable or baby change facility neither. #letsguide, #cracow, #krakow, #visitkrakow, #visitcracow, #oldtown, #poland, #royalroute, #grodzka, #restaurant, #coffee, #beergarden, #history,...
Read moreIt is located in very touristic place, at the end of Grodzka street, and you can expect that it will be like this. The prices are higher that the average in the town, but I don't think it is worth of it. Coffee will be much better for the lower or same price just across the street at Costa or Ole café. The English breakfast of the price 40 zł seriously is not English, some strange local adaptation, with overfried bacon, no tomatoes, no Portobello mushroom. Check my picture here. The scrumbled eggs with butter and bacon of 19 zł was good. But price?! The coffee is served in very outdated cups, by the way. So if in the price should be included the pleasure to be in the place, so the idea of the interior is mishmash, very strange, at the entrance some barrels of beer. The nice side was the nice service, very...
Read moreFood was not so good, when multiple people order the same thing but you get different panini bread.. The bread was not fresh and also different than what my friend got. And even after asking the answer was "this is how it is". Got coffee spilled over us, it got cleaned off the table but we had to ask for more napkins or towel, friends bag was completely soaked and sticky, my shoes were dripping.. Wet sticky scarfs.. I asked for discount but didn't get. I think at least taking off the drinks would be fair. We walked few days in Krakow smelling like spoiled milk and caramel. Manager was also no help, the girls were friendly though. Seems like they couldn't do a lot...
