Just returned from a short break at this hotel and it exceeded our expectations. The hotel is in a fantastic location, right across from a small park and basically in the centre of the city. There is a tram stop outside the hotel which is great for getting around but can be a little noisy at some times. Bear in mind the trams run throughout the day and night. I wouldn't say the trams disturbed us much during our stay but we could definitely hear them. The rooms are excellent, ultra modern, definitely the most spacious rooms I've ever seen a city hotel. We stayed in a superior room (these are the rooms with the bright colour scheme) throughout our stay, which is the default room type sold by Jet2Holidays. Air conditioning was top notch, cooled down the room instantly and kept it cool. Also had a heating function if you needed it. It was 30°C during our stay but we left the air-con on a thermostat and it kept our rooms cool. Good selection of tea and coffee in the rooms. Housekeeping excellent, rooms were always spotless. If I had to find faults I'd say the showers were very small and the duvets on the beds were far too thick for the seasonal climate. A thin sheet or duvet would've made our sleeps a lot more comfortable. The hotel lobby area was clean and comfortable, as was the bar. There was a very basic outdoor seating area too. WiFi was very good throughout the hotel. Our only complaint would be breakfast. It seemed to be catered exclusively to mainland Europeans. As Brits we didn't see much we liked but we always found something worth eating. A little more British style food would go a long way considering the hotel is sold through EasyJet, Jet2 and more UK airlines. Overall we were very pleased with our stay and found the hotel to be almost perfect in every aspect.

The hotel is located in a street in a row of houses and unfortunately has no distinctive signage. If I hadn't looked it up on Google maps, I would have missed it quite easily. The advantage is its own paid parking, the disadvantage is the exit to the street on which not only cars but also trams run, so you can only turn right and even with difficulty, when someone has to let you in, which is a problem in the morning rush hour. The room is tiny, but that's the toll of the hotel being very close to the main square and for one person that's perfectly fine. I was a bit negatively surprised by a broken central heating thermostat, but that happens, the heating worked. Otherwise everything was clean. I was amused by the fact that the elevator goes to the mezzanine and after getting off you have to either go down or up the stairs to your room. I don't know if the hotel has any separate elevator for wheelchair users, but I don't think so. If it does, I hope wheelchair users are informed of this fact in advance, otherwise they would be in for an unpleasant surprise. The breakfast was absolutely delicious, all the ingredients for a full English breakfast were available and everything was fresh and tasted very good.

Fabulous location - a stone's throw from the main square in the old town. It's got a bit of a hostel feel to it when you come in, rather than a hotel. There isn't really a lobby, there's just a front desk and a small waiting area and the lift up to the rooms. Also there are quite a few stairs when coming in. I didn't see a ramp for luggage. Plus on our floor (4th), the lift/elevator comes to supposedly the 4th floor but then you still have to go up a flight of stairs to get to the rooms. So it isn't ideal for anyone with mobility issues or if you have heavy luggage. The room we had was rather small, but it's clean and modern, and has what you need in it. The kettle with tea & coffee in the room is very welcome and we got complimentary bottles of water every day - a nice touch. The heating in our room wasn't working well, so after they tried to fix it a couple of times, they gave us a heater. Breakfast is very good. Mostly the same each day, but they do ring the changes with certain things each day. Don't use their airport transfer service, it is at least twice the price of taking a regular taxi or an Uber, and public transport is even cheaper.

We have just spent two nights in this wonderful hotel. From the moment we got there we were welcomed by a very warm, friendly and professional chap on reception. As we were a little early our rooms weren’t ready, so where else can you wait, yep you guessed it the bar.|It’s only small, but very clean and the chairs and tables were brilliant. The bar staff were extremely friendly and welcoming, and laughed when I tried to use a little Polish.|We were very pleasantly surprised when we got to the room (417), it was spotlessly clean and it was obvious from the smell it had received a good standard of cleaning.|The hotel is situated just a mile or so from the old town market sq, which is beautiful. |We didn’t eat in the restaurant so I can’t comment on the food, but if the welcome and cleanliness had anything to go by, it must have been amazing. We couldn’t have breakfast on our first morning, as we had an early pick up to visit Auschwitz-Birkenau, but we were offered a breakfast box to take with us, it wasn’t the best I’ve ever had, but it sufficed.|We were able to have breakfast on the 2nd day. There were the options of cold meats and cheese, and a hot option of bacon eggs and beans, with a good selection of fruits and yogurt, very nice. I would...
