A clear and solid 5/5. if you‘re in Warsaw make sure to visit this place. Its amazing! From service, over drinks to the quality of the food everything is perfect every time i go there.

To start off, we were introduced by a whole team of elegantly dressed waiters that were all very friendly. Even though, we were obviously a bit younger (mid 20s) and not Polish nor female me and my two friends were treated with the highest respect by a very humorous waiter.

He seated us in my opinion at the best table of the restaurant (in the main room right corner next to the entrance) and immediately told us some jokes and offered us an Aperitif. We went for three Espresso Martini which usually were not on the menu but their bartender improvised them and the result was amazing.

The service was all in all amazing from the first the second of the experience until the last. The waiter explained us every dish because we were not familiar with everything the local cuisine had to offer.

Afterwards we decided for our dishes. We went for tartar, herring and the jewish tomato soup for starters and the duck, and two times the stuffed roulade for main courses. We finished this brilliant meal with two shots of the house vodka (can only recommend) but were too full for an additional desert. From what I know from the main courses though is that we definitely missed something out by not trying the desserts.

Everything was class A! Loved the atmosphere of the restaurant, beautiful ambience, nice slow and rhythmic music, not too fancy (no annoying show off) - all in all just a 5/5 can recommend it for families, friends, casual and not casual.

I will definitely be back! Great compliment to the kitchen and especially the very nice and qualified waiter! I hope he will remember me (one of the three guys you hated for not drinking more vodka ;) )

See you...

My girlfriend and I went to Gessler Wódka 30/06/2024. This was our first restaurant after arriving in Warsaw the day before.

We had both ordered Wątróbka cielęca mainly because my girlfriend was on a strict diet and I ordered it because I enjoy it too.

The waiter gladly took our order and went back to the kitchen. We had been waiting for around 30-40 minutes for our plate which was understandable because it was very busy. However, the people sitting next to our table were seated 2 minutes before us and received TWO different courses within 5-10 minutes of ordering.

THE BEST PART? The waiter came back with two menus in his hand after 40 minutes and told us that they no longer had the Wątróbka cielęca and told us we needed to order something else. Meanwhile, the party next to us (seated 2 minutes before us) was already paying their bill after completing two courses.

How are you going to wait that long before informing us that what we ordered was not available? Unacceptable.

We were going to walk out but we were hungry so we decided to order something else.

I ordered the Zrazy and my girlfriend ordered the fish.

The Zrazy was literally the worst thing I’ve had in a long time. They were burnt and dry as heck. And the fish my girlfriend ordered was absolutely tasteless.

I don’t usually spend this much time leaving a review unless it’s amazing or unbelievably bad and this was TERRIBLE.

I was debating not paying for the meal and just walking out because I didn’t even eat the meal after a few bites.

All in all, absolutely terrible all around. It was my first time at this restaurant and I definitely will never be going back to this place due to the dismal...

The front door is not marked as entrance, so if one is not familiar with this place, there is no indication which door is the actual entrance (there are at least 3 or 4 entrance doors, most blocked by tables; the actual entrance door was semi blocked by a crepes making station). I tried to pull the door open several times with staff standing on the other side ignoring me. After several attempts, we figured that the door should be pushed to open (no label to help customers). Really irritating when you are standing outside in the rain. Conclusion is that the staff is either clueless or purposefully oblivious to their surroundings. Our table was by the temporary bathroom (ultimately our choice because it was quiet and away from the crowds), that door however did not close automatically and had no handle on the inside to make it possible for customers to close it behind them. I had prix fix lunch, barley soup with potatoes, and baked cod in some cream sauce. The soup tasty however the cod was bone dry and touch. When i brought it up, i was offered more sauce (!). Ridiculous and thoughtless. As i was leaving i mentioned it to the host but only got brief apology in the passing (he was busy as the place was really chaotic). I will not be back and do not...

We stopped by this restaurant for lunch and were pleasantly surprised by its unique decor and the upscale dress code. The entire staff, including the owner, was well dressed, adding to the restaurant's professional atmosphere. The seating was comfortable and stylish, with good cutlery and a piano positioned in the middle of the room, giving it an exclusive feel. While the service was friendly and kind, there was a slight language barrier, and communication in English seemed a bit challenging. However, our order was executed rightly, so it wasn't a significant issue. As for the food, it seemed a bit mismatched with the overall theme of the restaurant. Bagels seemed out of place, but they were tasty. The dumplings, on the other hand, were a bit unusual - lacking in the promised cracklings and filled with small onion bits, which made them a bit oily. Despite this, the flavor was still enjoyable, though it didn't quite feel like a proper dish. Halfway through our lunch, a pianist arrived and added a delightful touch to our dining experience, enhancing the ambiance of the restaurant. Overall, while there were some minor quirks, the restaurant offered a unique and memorable dining experience.

The worst service in my life – the arrogant owner, with no respect whatsoever, insults customers and throws them out of the restaurant. If you have no passion for service, then don’t open a restaurant. On August 31st at 14:00, I was a customer who was brought to tears at the entrance of the restaurant by a disgusting man in a gray suit. The fact that this place tolerates an owner who yells at customers like that is unbelievable. It’s just one meal – I can simply not eat – but why insult people? A restaurant with no manners. I had a reservation for 14:00, and I was told the place was full. I politely asked if I could come back at 15:30. The first staff member kindly suggested I wait at the neighboring “Declesser on Ranada.” Inside, a waiter, upon hearing I was a tourist, warmly invited me back to the restaurant and assured me that I absolutely must eat there. He asked me to wait a little outside. At first, I thought these two places were simply being overly hospitable. Until I ended up standing confused outside for an hour. Finally, I was taken inside, and suddenly a fat man in a gray suit, claiming to be the owner, kicked me out. He said he would never in his life allow me to eat there, because my clothing “did not meet the requirements.” He ordered me to get out of the restaurant. He insulted me, shouting that “lousy Asians also have to come here to insult Polish cuisine.” He was so emotionally unstable that I felt as if we had some kind of personal grudge! This is the honest opinion of a customer trampled by this restaurant. They probably don’t care anyway. But I have to say it – otherwise, who knows how many more guests will be treated this rudely.
