Great restaurant to enjoy Georgian food and drinks, polite and nice waiters, big portions, and very tasty food. We come here every time we find ourselves in Wrocław.
HOWEVER! Our last visit to this restaurant left us a bit disappointed. Everything was fine as always, however on this day my boyfriend was celebrating his birthday and this was the restaurant I chose to celebrate it as we both love Georgian cuisine. I had warned the staff about the fact that it was his birthday in advance when booking, and we also told the waitress about it as soon as we arrived. And there was no reaction at all:(( I was waiting for at least something - a small discount, a dessert, a free portion of chacha, or at least a few warm words from the staff. In all restaurants where we celebrated our birthdays before (and we do it quite often) such a small surprise for a guest is a normal thing to do, and it is never necessary to ask for it separately. And I was sure that this hospitable popular Georgian restaurant would definitely not let me down and would please my boyfriend with at least something. We waited until the very end, but, unfortunately, nothing happened. Only at the very last minute did the waitress say as if in between: Ah, and have a good birthday, sir.
We left a little disappointed. I don't know if it was just our bad luck or if it's the way it is here, but we are definitely not celebrating anything here again:( And that's a...
Read moreThe food was great! Highly recommend to try out the dumplings and garlic cream chicken. However, we did not leave the restaurant happy with the over-service and expectation of high tips of the waiter. We asked for the check after our food and we really needed to leave to go to a place closing soon. But the waiter insisted that the Georgian meal needs to be finished by shots. We assumed the shots were a act of hospitality because we already asked for the check and providing free shots are quite common in resaurants. I didnt like the shot that much but to be polite, we finished both shots. The two shots turn out to cost 19 sloty. When we found out the shots were not on house, and that we are late for the place we need to go,we tipped for 10 sloty which was around 7% extra for the waitor. The waitor reacted with pure silence-not one single thank you or bye-as a sign that we tip too little. We found the contrast very rude and shallow. Please go try out the food but be aware that the waitors there expect high tips for the long introductions they do.Just say no to shots if you simply don't need a strong...
Read moreThis is the worst cheese chinkali I ever ate in my life.
First of all they were filled with cheese just 30%, very watery and tasteless, it reminded me of polish dumplings with cottage cheese, which even though I am not a fan, are way better than this chinkali. I completely don’t understand good reviews regarding dumplings because it was just horrible experience. The waiter was just “ sorry” for it and didn’t do anything, I have heard that Polish customer service is on pretty low level yet I was expecting it will be removed from the bill or at least offered me something else in return but they don’t care about customer satisfaction as I understood.
I don’t recommend it and it is very disappointing that in the beginning, the waiter was very nice but when it comes to deal with the complaints they just don’t care at all.
Very sad situation though. Please be aware that if you don’t like the food they don’t give a...
