The quality of homemade food together with the atmosphere in this house makes the Cova-Funda Restaurant one of my favourite restaurants in Coimbra. The staff is also very friendly, the service fast, the price is reasonable for the amount and quality of the food. If you are looking for a typical Portuguese restaurant serving delicious food with a good quality-price ratio in the center of the city, this is a great choice.

A nice restaurant right on the famous Sofia street. It's a family own and run restaurant. It's quite popular for locals, especially students. The restaurant was almost full when we were there. We really enjoyed the food and the atmosphere there. The service was also great. Everyone was friendly a d helpful. We will definitely go back.

A minha visita a este local foi como se tivesse visitado a casa da minha avó para almoçar. Um sítio simples, bem decorado, com boa comida! Senti-me em casa. Devo dizer que o espaço demonstra bem as raízes da casa, ou seja, tem fotos dos fundadores, tem decoração alusiva ao espaço (sendo que descobri até que se realizam fados na casa). A comida é tipicamente portuguesa e bem servida! É saborosa! Como todo o bom restaurante, prezam pela satisfação da pessoa que lá vai comer. Eu provei lulas grelhadas e devo dizer que estavam com um sabor fresco, bem cozinhadas e bem acompanhadas de um batata e salada. Recomendo a visita ao sítio, pois é comida tipicamente portuguesa, servida com carinho! Gostei muito da minha visita!
