The quality of homemade food together with the atmosphere in this house makes the Cova-Funda Restaurant one of my favourite restaurants in Coimbra. The staff is also very friendly, the service fast, the price is reasonable for the amount and quality of the food.

Relaxed and informal, this restaurant serves traditional Portuguese food at highly affordable prices. Competent cooking, large portions, excellent prices. Recommended. Devo dizer que o espaço demonstra bem as raízes da casa, ou seja, tem fotos dos fundadores, tem decoração alusiva ao espaço (sendo que descobri até que se realizam fados na casa). A comida é tipicamente portuguesa e bem servida! É saborosa! Como todo o bom restaurante, prezam pela satisfação da pessoa que lá vai comer. Eu provei lulas grelhadas e devo dizer que estavam com um sabor fresco, bem cozinhadas e bem acompanhadas de um batata e salada. Recomendo a visita ao sítio, pois é comida tipicamente portuguesa, servida com carinho! Gostei muito da minha visita!
