The place looks nice and they had vegan options so we decided to try. The pizza base seems like it was bought frozen. The potato in my pizza was simply boiled without taste and they sparked some bits of vegan cheese (+2Eur). My girlfriend ordered a soup and a pizza. The soup was better. The portions were tiny, specially for that price. I don't understand how they charge you 2Eur EXTRA for vegan cheese when they are SAVING the cost of cow's cheese that I'm replacing and you are using a tiny fraction... They must be buying the most expensive vegan cheese in the world (and the cheapest cow's cheese). The service was bipolar, they had a waitress that was nice and the other one that seemed like she didn't want to live anymore... Overall even that is one of the only places in Lagos with vegan options we would never go back
Edit for reply: The "bipolar service" was a figure of speech to represent how nice one waitress was and how non engaging and tired of the job/bored who knows... the other one was. Regarding the vegan cheese, yes we know how cheap/expensive cheese Vs vegan cheese is (we've been vegan for very long time). I'm not lucky that an Italian place wants to offer vegan options. You are running your business and I assume you add that option because you want to cash in, not because of the kindness of your heart. Finally regarding the base maybe it was made at the restaurant, I don't know... I just said it seemed like, I had a nice digestion after but not that nice pizza overall. I still stand that it was overpriced because of the pizza sizes, other photos I've seen seemed to be bigger pizzas, maybe we were just unlucky or vegans just get...
Read moreWe visit this restaurant because of the gluten free menu. Unfortunately we had the feeling not to be welcomed. We -family with 3 kids- sat anyway and order pizzas. The food was ok but it felt like if we were bothering the staff due to our celiac disease. Days after we came back asking if we could order 4 gluten free pizzas to go. They answered the order was too much for the “rush time” and was not possible to dispatch. Two days after we came back asking for a table and the blond woman rejected us again. For us is very difficult to find a gluten free restaurant. That is the reason why we try and try again. I guess they are used to have 1 time customers and that is the reason why they show as they don’t care. My customer experience was disappointing and I would not recommend this restaurant to any person with celiac disease spending holidays in Lagos - we had kids- and for them was the rejection also a bad experience. They advertised to have gluten free alternatives but as I said before “gluten free customers “ are more like not welcomed. At least so was how it it felt...
Read moreI recently had the pleasure of dining at this charming Italian restaurant in Lagos, and it was an absolutely delightful experience. Everything was superb, earning it a well-deserved 5-star rating from me!
The gluten-free bruschetta served as the appetizer was incredibly delicious. The flavors were so well-balanced, and the gluten-free aspect did not compromise the taste in the slightest.
Now, let's talk about the pizza – hands down, the best gluten-free pizza I've ever had! The crust was a perfect balance of crispiness and chewiness, and the toppings were fresh and flavorful.
The attention to detail and commitment to providing gluten-free options make this restaurant stand out. If you're a fan of authentic Italian cuisine, especially with a gluten-free twist, this place is an absolute gem. Highly...
