It is a small restaurant with french cousine. However doesn't have all the typical french food that we would expect to find in normal brasserie in Paris restaurant. The portions are fair but not big... The food it is well made. The desert list is not very appealing. The employees are well trained to serve in which it is rare in Lisbon! The employees force the client to buy alcoholic drinks in order to make sure the client spends money at table. I find it very annoying....The music it is a litle too loud. It is not a cheap restaurant and shouldnt be allowed to have big groups. I would never let a group of 30 people to occupy a restaurant that it is suposly to be with quite atmosphere with fine dining.thee is something that came up to my atentiom and i will recomend to anyone who visit the restaurant to make sure if the scalops are fresh and real. The scalops season are between october to march, we are in...

I’ve been many 5 stars hotel restaurants all over the world in my life, so here is my honest review. I had a lunch menu here. Made a reservation at 12:00, they are not ready yet so waited 5 minutes, no problem. The place is clean and comfy nice decor. All the staff paying attention very well. My lamp stake was very hard and chewy, sauce was good but very salty. That’s why I gave them 3.5 stars. Main dish is important. If you can’t impress the people for lunch they won’t come back for dinner. Welcome mini sparkling wine and white wine, dessert was great. I ordered extra coffee not including the menu. Overall, spend around 25€ per person was great deal. Waiters are nice and they speak English. That’s very important too. BGM is perfect volume. I have to come back this place for try another menu then I will decide to go back or not, because this place is very close to my house. I hope next visit will...

As a couple who only dine at high end restaurants around the world and live in south Florida and dine at places like sexy fish , papi steak ,trulucks Eddie v's on the regular , this food was truly over priced garbage, service was equal to ordering at McDonald's if that. Management didn't care one bit as we were a party of approx 19 and place was not even remotely busy to use that excuse as it was a Tuesday night

I have had experiences in the past at high end establishments and manager always makes it a point to make it right . Servers didn't speak a lick of English, took over an hour to get drinks to even taste like a drink ,then another hour for salty shrimp fried but was not fried it was sautéed. Then another hour for food that was cold stale and had no flavor.

I tried to communicate with Management my dissatisfaction to no avail ,just did not care

Word of caution, eat elsewhere if you...

It’s rare that I would give 5 star reviews in every category but this one is definitely worth it. Just wanted to recommend Bardo in Lisbon. I love French food and there’s not many french restaurants here. It’s named after the gorgeous Brigitte and there a lovely large photo of her in the washroom. The food was all huge portions and while not amazing it was extremely good. Foie grais terrine was delicious, onion soup too. The steak tartare was hand mixed at your table and and confit duck and lamb shank to die for. Even my kids loved it but they mainly ate bread, ice cream and chips. It’s a little fancy so no beach shorts and sandals allowed but they did turn a blind eye to my kids in shorts! Service impeccable and extremely attentive without being intrusive. It’s just off the Avenida da Liberdade, opposite the BBVA bank if you know where that is.
