This place is a joke. On Sunday night my wife and I walked over there from our nearby hotel at 9:30 p.m. Their sign on the door and on their Webpage ( Facebook) states they are open until 11:00. The guy was putting his tables outside away. We asked him if he was open and he said, quite rudely - NO, CLOSED. I showed him his sign said 11:00 but he yelled “CLOSED” at me, so we walked away. It’s now 2 days later, on Tuesday. It’s 4:50 p.m. and my wife and I thought we would try again. He has a chalk board sign that reads “ Kitchen Open Every Day 12:00-23:00”. We went to make reservations for 9:00 tonight. Despite the chalk board sign right on the sidewalk in front of the door, the door was locked. My wife said she could clearly see the guy in there looking out the window at us, and he did nothing. You would think he would at least come to the door to see what we wanted but nope, he went into the back where he could not be seen. This guy seems to work when he feels like it, so if you are thinking of eating here, good luck- you are rolling the dice travelling here as he just may not feel like working when you arrive. There are other great options in the neighbourhood, why bother...

Unfortunately I have to write a very bad review for this restaurant. To start off the waiter made a very rude comment while we were ordering since we had had a big lunch and us girls weren't very hungry. He said it was because we didn't want to pay very much. Then the dish of bacalhau my husband and I shared, smelt and tasted completely off as if it were starting to go bad. When I calmly told the waiter in a low voice, so the other guests couldn't hear, he said it was my husband and I that didn't know what it was supposed to taste like and that everyone else was eating it without any problem! I also gave a piece to my friend sitting next to me and she also said that there was definitely something wrong with it! We didn't eat it of course. The waiter didn't offer to exchange it, insisting it was our problem. At the moment of payment, we had to pay for it entirely anyway. I absolutely DO NOT recommend...

I am wondering how you could give this restaurant more than 1 star. The bottled water had the same taste as the chloride tapwater (did we get tap water?). The octupus starter tasted like straight out of the can and the oysters had a bad taste. Even the main dish remembered me of the deep fried prepared cod fish, only with a price difference of 10€. A cafeteria food is better than this experience. The Waiter was standing right next to us while ordering, stressing the hell out of us. If thats not enough every time he went by, he stared at our food and hitting my friends chair. After 2 weeks in Portugal it was our worst restaurant experience, only we had payed much more than for other restaurants. I know there are 1 star reviews and you think its usual, but this one star is legitimate. Dont waste your money for a...

I discovered this restaurant 7 years ago, it was amazing then. Yesterday we went back expecting the same, but it was just fine, the menu now covers only the basics (~10 most common seafood/meat dishes), the food is good as is the service, but it used to have a much richer offering of seafood and shellfish. The food prices are average, but they overcharged for: ~5€ for bread and a small bit of olives; ~12€ for 2 beers; ~4€ for a plastic container to bring leftovers, way higher than most restaurants in Lisbon. In short it is fine but not spectacular as it used to be. FYI - The surrounding area/street is currently under mayor construction.

Should have known when we saw the table with the tour group, but we decided to sit down anyways. Bread and olives were immediately placed on our table. We kept the olives but had them take away the bread so we wouldn't be charged. The olives were good. For our mains we got the grilled sea bass with vegetables and the tagliatelle with clams. The fish was good but the bland, boiled vegetables can be seen in my photo. The pasta was fine but I wouldn't go out of my way to get it again. Nothing was terrible (other than those veggies), but nothing was great either.

No tienen Ron, no tienen Ginebras, no tienen Vodka, no tienen Whisky.
