I won't come back to Don Costini, for the same reason l am not coming back to Ginos restaurant, because it was disappointing since there are other italian restaurant options around town with higher quality standards and with similar prices such as La Tagliatella (in Av. Berna, Campo Pequeno) or even lower prices Casa Al Parma (in Alvalade).
I asked for Coke and a Cocktail, and than for another one. As I needed a place to have a call with internet connection. I am aware that the restaurant is interested in people eating, but the inside part was empty, I haven't kept anyones place, and I asked for not the cheapest drinks (two Aperols). So, the guys on the bar brought me a spoilt water when I asked for the glass of water for the 2nd time. Than I asked to pore water I front of me, and it was ok. So, what they do is bring you a specially non-drinkable water if you don't ask for the bottled one. Beside the fact it took them over 35 minutes to bring the soups, Two of them were probably heated in the microwave because the plates were extremely hot and the soup was cold. After we ordered a salad, and sadly the tomatoes were kinda rotten (see photo). disappointing. For the main course we ordered the francesinha. Multi layered plate with bread, cheese, with a special meat prepared at the place. The meat was hard to chew and rubbery. And the meal itself wasn't a pleasure to have.
