Imprensa Cocktail & Oyster Bar Baixa-Chiado — Restaurant in Lisbon

I came here for the oysters and they did not disappoint! Another bar, Liquid Love had said these are some of the best bar oysters in the city and personally I think they are some of the best I’ve ever had (and I’m the type of person to FedEx oysters directly from Maine to my house/travel to oyster farms on the west coast for freshly picked day of oysters). Oysters here are briny with a balanced mineral and fresh finish (at least the day I went where the oysters came 15 minutes across the river)

This place was seriously amazing, came here for a few drinks but ended up staying for a few more because the bartenders were so amazing, best service I have received and really good cocktails, the brioche bun was also really good and even though we didn’t try the oysters, they looked really fresh and delicious. They also made us some custom drinks and even gave us some free shots! When I spilled my drink that was almost finished they made me a new one without me even noticing. I can defiantly say that they go the extra step for the customer. They are fluent in English and they were great to talk to. The only time I’ve actually chose to and enjoyed sitting by the bar! The most authentic cocktail bar in Lisbon. Cocktail making is an art, it requires skill & soul to pull together beautiful combinations, well-balanced & imaginative. These folks know how to do that. It's wonderful to see them work & they'll happily explain everything to you. The music was good & they're menu of drinks & tip-bits will evolve, I'm sure.
