The food was really good but the service was very odd.

They brought out our food before the appetizer and we asked the server where the appetizer was and he said he forgot.

Asked for tap water and he charged me for tap water which I've never seen anywhere in the world.

Ordered lasagna because it looked like a good portion size but was more like half of what the menu showed. I wanted to ask where the other half was but was already too annoyed by the service and overall negative experience.

Our server hovered around the table chatting making it very awkward . Very nice guy but didn't take the hint that we wanted to eat.

I'm not sure if I would recommend this place or not.... No, I would not recommend it...go elsewhere!

I left...

Each of the pasta dishes was €17. Most definitely not worth it - the truffle pasta didn’t taste good and the other pasta tasted as something you could have at a fast food place - too sweet, conflicting flavours and very heavy. Bread basket was stale (definitely not from today). The tomato sauce of the fried burrata dish was cold - feeling is that they took it out of a jar put it on plate and then put the fried the burrata on top of cold tomato sauce, odd combination with the hot and cold elements in one dish. Tiramisu was tasty and service was good. Value for money not there nor was the overall...

We arrived at our Lisbon hotel late afternoon after a long day of travel. It was a very hot (80°F+) day and the hotel had no food options, not even bar. We were lucky that L'Osteria's busy full-house/reserved-tables time had not yet begun and they were willing to serve us. The staff were very friendly and efficient and the food was very good; especially the desserts. The rum and coconut panna cotta and the Basque cheesecake with passionfruit sorbet were excellent. Thank you to L'Osteria Italiana Chef and Staff for smoothing out a long,...

One advice... please get to go to this restaurant while it's still new (3 months old)... It will be difficult to get a reservation later. This is a place with potential to get some michelin mentions. The appetizer with the eggplant parm was so good, we didn't take the time for a picture. The pasta alla forma was terrific and my risotto was the best i had , even in Italy. I have a picture of the tiramisu from before we started , but following requests from my wife i will not show the empty scavenged plate after. A true 5 star place

Amazing Italian food at really reasonable prices! We had the seafood pasta, tomato and burrata pasta and bruschetta all was amazing with fresh handmade pasta. Service was really quick and indoor/outdoor seating is lovely! Much better than some much more expensive italian restaurants that we tried in lisbon! Would definitely recommend visiting here!
