If ever you're in the BICA area, give it a try. It's just 20 m to the left at the entrance of BICA station down hill. You won't be disappointed. We've been 12 days in Lisbon and have been there almost every day. They open early in morning at 7am and close at 7pm. Friday they are even open until 11pm. Sat and Sun they are closed. Every day they offer different dishes of the day for very affordable prices. I think we tried the most of them and they were all top. There is a little terrace outside, close to the street and you can see the old Lisbon trams going up and down. Btw..try their sangria. One of the best in town for a ridiculous price. The staff is so friendly and the main waiter is such a friendly and polite person, which is rare to get. Thanks again to him, to make our stay unforgettable. Lugar excelente. Comida estava bem temperada e muito saborosa. O preço é muito acessível e o almoço é servido até mais tarde, sendo que uma grande parte dos outros lugares estavam fechadas. A cerveja estava gelada e o ambiente é limpo, organizado e tem a área externa com sombrinhas e uma boa vista da rua e das pessoas e se preferir tem a área interna, bem ventilada. O atendimento foi excelente com o Ricardo, que presta atenção em todos os detalhes, é gentil, agradável, sorridente, tranquilo e muito prestativo. Me senti muito bem neste ambiente e voltaria em todas as refeições se pudesse para experimentar todo o cardápio! Custo benefício maravilhoso!!!!

Excellent place. Food was well seasoned and very tasty. The price is very affordable and lunch is served until late, even though most of the other places were closed. The beer was cold and the environment is clean, organized and has an outdoor area with umbrellas and a good view of the street and people and, if you prefer, there is an indoor area, well ventilated. The service was excellent with Ricardo, who pays attention to every detail, is kind, pleasant, smiling, calm and very helpful. I felt very comfortable in this environment and would go back for every meal if I could to try the entire menu! Wonderful value...

If you want to eat authentic Portuguese with homey feel - eat here. They usually close earlier than what’s posted on google maps so plan to stop in for lunch because at around 5:30-6 the kitchen usually closes. Their prices are very inexpensive for the quality and their menu changes daily. Make sure to try whatever traditional soup they have on the menu as a started and go for the grilled Dourada (sea bream)...
