STŌ Restaurante & Mercearia is a real gem in Lisbon. From the moment we arrived, the service stood out. The staff are warm, attentive, and professional, making sure everything runs smoothly. They make you feel welcome right away, and their recommendations are spot on.

The food is excellent. We had the octopus salad, and it was one of the most refreshing dishes I have tried in a long time. The flavors were light, fresh, and perfectly balanced. Every bite showed the quality of the ingredients. Other dishes on the menu also looked tempting, and it is clear that everything is prepared with care. The portions are well sized and nicely presented.

The atmosphere is cozy and modern, with a relaxed vibe that makes it perfect for both a casual meal or a special night out. The restaurant is not very big, so it fills up quickly. A reservation is definitely needed if you want to guarantee a table. That alone shows how popular and well loved this place is.

Prices are a bit high but fair for the quality, and the overall experience feels special. STŌ is a place where great food, excellent service, and atmosphere all come together. Definitely a...

Our first evening in Lisbon couldn’t have started better. My boyfriend and I had dinner at STŌ Restaurante & Mercearia and everything from the food to the service was truly exceptional.

We were warmly welcomed by Alex, who took care of us the whole night. He suggested we try the prix fixe menu so we could experience the best of Portuguese flavors and of course we said yes. The dinner started with a glass of white Port wine and cheese, then came a delicious appetizers, a perfectly cooked main dish and a beautiful dessert. Every bite was full of flavor and the presentation was stunning.

What really made the experience memorable was Alex. He was attentive, kind, funny and so knowledgeable about everything he served. You can tell he genuinely cares about what he does and takes pride in offering a great experience.

Also, I noticed a few negative reviews online before coming and honestly some people just love to complain. Our night was flawless and we’re already planning to come back before leaving Lisbon.

Thank you Alex for making our first night so special. We left full, happy and already looking forward to...

Where to even begin to tell you about this amazing restaurant! This is my favourite place in all of Lisbon. First of all, the passion for quality ingredients and the respect for the food is everywhere in this small restaurant. And it shows in the menu, the taste of the dishes, the service and the little shop that is part of the restaurant. I think this focus on quality and passion for food is fantastic and, unfortunately, rare in modern restaurants. This place exudes quality and uncompromisingness and I appreciate it so much!

The food is delicious and yet approachable, despite the emphasis on quality. As vegetarians, we were a little short on choice but don't worry: the vegetarian food here is also ridiculously good! I highly recommed their homemade ice tea. We had a delicious Azorean sandwich and a lovely "Camel Spit" dessert that made our socks roll! We still remember that dessert, it was so amazing, innovative and insane! Genius!

I can't say enough good things about this place, I wholeheartedly wish this place success and longevity! We will...

Amazing breakfast/brunch place serving typical Portuguese dishes. Ingredients are fresh and cooked to perfection. There’s a wide variety of dishes and pastries to choose from as well different types of cheese. You can also buy a variety of local products. Such a hidden gem I was glad to Have found!

We went based on a personal recommendation but the menu does not really offer anything for less adventurous palets so my daughter didn't eat anything so keep this in mind. I did think it was expensive for what it was. I had a tuna salad, ok, my son had the bacalhau which he enjoyed although it had some bones. My husband had the beef which he also enjoyed but considering we only had a main each the bill was pretty steep. The quality of the food was generally good but I didn't think it was value for money. Also don't say you want chips. They give you crisps. I think you need to say french fries. I was hoping to get a side dish for my daughter but ended up with crisps which she actually didn't eat because she said they were bland. I would try another local restaurant on that basis.
