As many people mentioned here, the service was really bad! It was a rainy evening, My wife and I went to this little restaurant and asked for a table for 4. The guy asked us to wait. but after our other 2 friends came in, the waiter suddenly asked all of us to leaver, in a very bad attitude. what's going on? Eventually we were allowed to seat at a table by the door. Frankly speaking the foods were delicious. But this waiter's behavior was kinf of awkward: friendly at one moment but rude at another. We just wanted to feed ourselves. Surprisingly nice little restaurant right next to the Sé. When I passed by earlier, I thought it was a shop that sold cold drinks to tourists. Later, on my way back, I was looking further to their glass window, I realized it was a fridge, there were fresh fishes inside. The man actually took the fish and brought it to the chef behind. I entered, it was a tiny restaurant with about 5-6 tables. Only one server and one chef. The butter shrimp with bread as starter and the sardine plate as main were amazing. Loved the dinner. The sardines were so tasty. I’m not usually a fan of potatoes, but this time, oh the best simple potatoes I have had in years. And it was so reasonable with that...

Diese Rezension wurde gelöscht, ich weiss nicht warum und stelle sie daher nochmal ein. Der Besuch fand vor 2Jahren statt. Das erste Restaurant, vor dem wir von einem Kellner auf der Strasse abgefangen wurden. Das ist uns in Portugal noch garnicht passiert. Aber da wir auf den Weg zu einem gut bewerteten Lokal waren und unser Kind Schnitzel auf einer auf deutsch beschriebenen Speisekarte entdeckte, blieben wir. Schon das Ambiente ließ uns hoffen, das wir noch überrascht werden. Wir waren dort allein und der Kellner war überaus freundlich und lies uns dann auch nicht mehr aus den Augen. Während wir auf unsere Speisen warteten, telefonierte Antonio (glaube ich) so lautstark hinter uns, das wir dann doch etwas irritiert waren. Nun ging es los. Als erstes empfahl Antonio uns Wurst und Käse. Er unterstrich seine Empfehlung, indem er mit seinem Daumen immer wieder auf den Käse tippte, als er uns den Teller zeigte. Das war dann auch der Grund das wir dankend ablehnten. Meine jüngere Tochter nahm die Suppe, diese kann ich auch weiter empfehlen. Unsere Gerichte wurden auf Metallplatten gebracht und meiner Frau und Tochter mit einer Zange auf die vor ihnen stehende Teller geschaufelt. Antonio machte hier einen aufgeregten Eindruck und was nicht auf dem Teller landete, glaubte meine Frau dann von ihrem Bein. Mir allerdings wurde der vor mir stehende Teller weggenommen und der Metallteller hingestellt. Das fand ich komisch. Ich hatte Lamm und es war in Ordnung, die dazu gereichten Kartoffel-Chips waren nur lauwarm. Meine Frau hatte Lachs und lies aufgrund der wirklich vielen Gräten einiges auf dem Teller. Meiner Tochter, welche das Schnitzel auf der Karte entdeckt und bestellt hatte, waren schon beim kredenzen die Gesichtszüge eingefroren. Es war ein gewöhnliche Stück Schweinefleisch, mit Pilzen und schmeckte einfach grauenhaft. Da ihr aber der Kellner leid tat, der immer wieder zum Tisch eilte, aß sie davon.
