Dont believe the hype.

We got seated at a dirty and sticky table, like a sugary drink was spilled on it. We had to ask the waiter multiple times to clean the table. Which he did with a dry cloth. Obviously not solving the problem at all.

Relucantly we decided to try the food anyway, given the high reviews. We ordered some taco's and quesadillas and to our surprise they came quick. Within about five minutes. But the food was rather tasteless and the chicken taco I ordered was just plain cold. When we almost finished eating, another waiter came rushing in, excused himself and gave us some spicy sauces. This did make the food better (not great mind you), but there were only two bites left.

I asked for the bill, expressed our frustration, paid and left. Obviously no tip. Just before we stood up to leave, the manager (or what seemed like the manager) asked what was wrong. I asked him just to put his hand on the table, to feel how dirty it was. And with a straight face he said: but we always clean the tables. We left right after.

ps. the soap dispenser in the bathroom was filled with water. There was no soap at all. But I guess that explains the...

Came here with a group of friends(6), but sadly I didn’t taste any of the food, I was stuffed and came only for the company.

I tasted the margarita and the tequila. I’m not a fan of margaritas, so can’t say if it was good or not, but the tequila was really good, we had the white and the yellow and both were great!

The food looked super delicious and my friends loved all the plates they tasted.

They serve also 3 sauces and the general comment from my friends was that the spiciest was the better, the one on a bowl with a little spoon.

Can’t wait to come here and taste the food, based on their opinion it is a must do.

We order different drinks. The CHELADA was good and fresh, as it should. The MICHELADA was flavorful and tasty, recommended. The MEZCAL was ok and came with naranja y sal de guzano as it should. I would love to have more options for mezcal añejo. The LONG “ICELAND” ICE TEA was tasty. With the drinks we got TACOS (the TINGA DE POLLO was juicy and fresh; the COCHINITA PIBIL was tasty; and the MOLE could have more mole;) and QUESADILLAS (the regular one was tasty and cheesy; the ARRACHERO was sublime). To deal with the heat, they have 3 different options: mild, medium (both too light, but full of flavors) and the hot. Each one can “season” as they please. Good ambiance with music and latinamerican waiters giving it a true taquería feeling. We ate early so it was not so full. It was perfect! We’re coming...
