Very good service and quality food, and good prices. It's a small and cozy place and attracts locals and tourists alike.

If you are a tourist, I recommend you go earlier in the day since that's when most of the best pastries are available. This bakery is relatively popular and they sell a lot, so it's natural there will be less choice as the day progresses.

They serve full-blown lunch but you can opt for some really substantial sandwiches that aren't that expensive but will fill you up.

I also really appreciate its cleanliness (bathrooms are spotless) and subtle, understated, non-gawdy decor, which is a rarity for cafes in Porto.

I had to take a star off though, because often the radio is too loud and tuned to an obnoxious station that plays whatever latest offensive Despacito clone is all the rage at the moment. Now, I've nothing against people who like that stuff, that's not the issue. They could be playing smooth jazz, but you shouldn't foist your own tastes on your customers so loudly.

But I do heartily...

This was the worse bakery I came to in Porto, I’m shocked they are able to stay in business with how good the other cafĂ©s in the area. I ordered a Cappuccino with red fruit and condensed milk and she just gave me a drink with milk and fruit and insisted there was coffee in it when there wasn’t. I also ordered the bacon and scrambled egg toast and the bread didn’t taste fresh. I tried the mango croissant pastry as well and it tasted old. Not worth the money and the brunette with the piercings by her mouth isn’t helpful or welcoming if you don’t speak Portuguese. I had to use my translate app to order and I think that is why she didn’t make me a proper Cappuccino. Please don’t waste your time here, visit the other cafes in the area instead so that you can have a great experience along with great...

Mediocre cappuccino with a chocolate at the bottom, which made it even worse. Their pasteis de nata were the worst I've had in Portugal so far. Other pastries were so so. Their sandwich was however pretty good. The waiters were reeaaally slow in preparing our order. The prices are somewhat fair.

While reading other reviews, I feel like this patisserie changed the owner, because for us the experience was rather...

Pasties were lovely but mexican toast came with a poached egg without a yolk, half microwaved cold spinach, browned guacomole with no flavour and still after complaining we were made to pay €9.50 - not happy, don’t recommend. See below for the half eaten version after we decided we needed to leave a review - and yes the poached egg came in that beautiful state.

Excellent bakery with freshly baked goods and pastries selection. The surprising fabulous eat in menu is just amazing for lunch brunch or even dinner. Extra friendly staff and owner with superior service. Highly recommend if you are in the area.
