Very cheap local food, I read on an article that it was a place frequentes by college students because of its low prices. The food came in very big portions.

We ordered a flamed chorizo (the flames get quite big!), a bifana sandwich (small, but it was so cheap at 1,70€), grilled chicken with fries, rice and salad (4,50€), costeleta salchicheiro - pork chop with sausages, fries, rice and salad (4,50€) and bife taskinha - a beef with delicious sauce on top and french fries (7€).

We had water, beer and sangria for drinks, none of which exceeded 1,20€. They have a lot of other alcoholic and non alcoholic drinks, including shots ranging 1-2€ and cokctails 2-4€. The sangria was light in alcohol, but I can't speak for the other drinks. It tasted nice 👍.

The only reason I am giving 4 instead of 5 is the service. We were seating outside and it started drizzling so I was asking for one of those cover parasol/umbrellas. They explained a long strain of words in Portuguese that I couldn't fully understand, but basically saying they couldn't give us one and we would have to go inside if it started raining. That's quite inconvenient since we had a table full of dishes and a drink each. We just swallowed our food fast and left before it started pouring. Very good place to drink before clubbing. I always go this place because the drinks are very cheap and I wanna get drunk for the lowest price possible so I don’t have to spend a fortune inside the clubs. The staff is very nice too, everyone’s chill and they really are in the vibe of the students who just wanna enjoy the night while they make money. Totally recommend it specially because also a lot of people stay outside drinking...

Excellent experience, food and drinks are very cheap, food is delicious and the place was filled with young locals . We ordered large beers or “canecas” (€2.50), the Bifanas and Panado sandwiches (€2 each), and the chouriço assado (€3) which comes in flames and you cook it to your liking.
