Do you like a beautiful and unique atmosphere, delicious food, and feeling like you have a secret because you know about a magical place behind a "hidden" door? Yes? - correct answer! No? - you are wrong and should still try this place. The food was impeccably prepared, the service was inviting and attentive. We stopped by this place on somewhat of a whim to see if we could even find it, and it ended up being a highlight of our trip. We couldn't decide on what to eat so we just kept ordering, but for the quality of the food, it was reasonably priced. The tuna nigiri and tataki wagyu melted in your mouth; the oysters were the size of my face (ok, not really but they are huge); the gyoza were addictive. Had it not been our last night in Porto, we would have gone back...

I was at Toa last week and it was truly extraordinary. This hidden spot ( you enter through a takeaway restaurant, find the secret door and walk down a corridor that suddenly opens into wonder) takes you on a journey far away from everyday reality the moment you walk in. The hosts were outstanding in their warmth and availability, and the staff were super friendly, always going beyond expectations. I was even offered a cocktail off the menu, created just from my personal preferences, a great surprise. The food was excellent, and I need to return soon to try more of the menu.
