Overall, a bland experience. Although it has a very beautiful location in the middle of the the Romana Square, the experience it offers is far below expectations. We arrived at about 20:00 hours and sat down at a four seat table (two tables joined together). It was close to the heater and my friend wanted to warm herself a bit. The waiter came and told us to move to another table (which was had the exact same setting - he just split the two tables). I get that there may have been a chance for four people to come in through the door, even so late in the evening. However, they made EXISTING customers stand up and switch places for "unlikely potential ones". The sushi was mediocre at best. The ramen was pretty good, although the main seasoning appears to have been salt (i couldn't taste anything else since it was so salty). They don't have menus, you have to go online on your phone. The beverage offering is very limited. The waiter was polite, but at first, he said we'd have to pay cash, which I think he should've mentioned as soon as we sat down. We eventually paid by card. Prices are fair for downtown sushi and ramen, but I'd go to another restaurant and pay a bit more for better...

The location of Nori is great, 7th floor of a building overlooking the river and Piata Unirii. The think I appreciated the most was the diversified menu, with great prices (maybe except for the nigiri, which was a bit overpriced in relation with their other offerings). The Pork Ramen was delicious; noodles were chewy and the consistency was perfect. The Chicken Katsu with sticky rice had a great aftertaste and the sushi platters were good, nothing out of the ordinary. The place is not too crowded, although a reservation is a must during the weekend. Only bad thing about our experience was the service, which was rookie level and had to wait a good amout for our meal. Nevertheless, I recommend Nori for their general good prices and tasty...

My verdict: TRY IT OUT, IT'S WORTH IT! Great service, decent prices, very tasteful dishes, each dish has a large size so you're getting value for money, very nice view over the Unirii Plaza and Dambovita river, easy directions to the 7th floor once you get to the address. A bit confused by the menu: the prices listed on the printed menu are not the actual prices charged, because the printed menus were not updated, but we were warned twice and the staff was very helpful in showing the real prices on the website (the website might be improved). Overall, above my expectations, a memorable experience, and I am looking forward to...

This place is hands down the best sushi restaurant in town. They have a wide range of dishes, with many kinds of sushi rolls. Their japanese style sandwich was also delicious. One slight downside are the above average prices, but the extra cash spent are certainly worth it. Make sure to try the Bao-Ban Pork Spicy Sandwich, really cheap and delicious. Keep up the good work Nori Sushi!
