Extremely Disappointing Experience

Our visit to this establishment was marred by an unacceptable lack of professionalism and organization. We placed our breakfast order in advance and were assured it would be ready within 25 minutes. However, it took an astonishing 45 minutes to be prepared, with no proactive communication or updates from the staff during the delay.

This level of inefficiency reflects poorly on the management and raises concerns about the restaurant’s commitment to customer satisfaction. Timeliness is a basic expectation in any hospitality setting, and failing to meet it—especially when a timeframe has been explicitly promised—demonstrates a disregard for the customer’s time.

While delays can happen, the absence of accountability or an apology for the inconvenience made the experience even more frustrating. Professionalism in service is not just about the food but also about reliability, respect, and the ability to deliver on commitments. Unfortunately, this establishment failed on all counts.

I have had Neapolitan pizza over the last three days (Osiek, Sombor and now Novi Sad). The good news is that you cannot go wrong with the available choices. You can read my review of Pepe’s and Pizza Art if you want details. Particularly to Giardino, the pizza is very good. The texture and flavor of the dough is excellent. The ingredients are of good quality. The sauce (they call it ketchup) is not to be used. Besides been cold, it takes away from the pizza. The carbonara was very tasty, but the pasta needed another 30s to a minute. It was a tad too hard. The restaurant is very nice. Staff is very attentive. When we came to the club, they brought us a menu but, when we wanted to make an order, a waiter told us their kitchen does not work anymore. We asked some of their staff if it is allowed to order pizza to the place and he confirmed it is possible. However, when a pizza was delivered by Wolt, a waiter came to us, closed a box with a pizza and told us we're not allowed to eat any food which is not from their kitchen inside. It was rude and contradicted what they told us before. When we asked to explain the situation, a waiter told us we could order a pizza there but not to eat it.
