We came to this restaurant full of expectations based on the excellent reviews. And we left very disappointed. The restaurant is very small, there are 3 waitresses working, who are so slow that we waited for about 15 minutes just for our drinks. We ordered Kimpap as an appetizer, but it arrived at the table last. The portion was large, but the taste was all very bland. Tok-ppoki was one big disappointment, the rice cakes were totally overcooked, and the consistency of the fish cakes was more like soggy tofu. The sauce had no taste, this dish was impossible to eat. We also got 3 side dishes, the kimchi was excellent, the egg roll was ok, but the Korean salad (on the menu with the note "fresh") was just seaweed without any taste. Read moreMe and my girlfriend visited this restaurant on Valentine’s Day, hoping for a nice dining experience, but unfortunately, it fell short. The service was disappointing—waitresses were not helpful when we asked for recommendations or the differences between dishes. It also took over 15 minutes just to receive menus.
While the food looked great (see the picture below), the taste didn’t match the presentation. My girlfriend’s bibimbap was completely unseasoned and lacked any authentic flavor. My beef bulgogi was decent but not worth the price. After finishing our meal, our empty dishes remained on the table for at least 15 minutes while we had our drinks and paid.
Overall, the experience was underwhelming, and I wouldn’t...
Read moreAs a big fan of Korean cuisine, I was very excited to try this new restaurant in Bratislava. We ordered tteokbokki and kimbap with vegetables. The food was served with a variety of banchan, side dishes, so I felt like I was in a South Korean restaurant. However, the taste was not as good as I expected. Tteokbokki in particular was very soupy and the rice cakes were overcooked and not at all firm to the bite. Kimbap was not bad, but only had 3 things in it and no sesame oil or sesame seeds on top. I have been to South Korea many times as I have relatives/friends there and I know what Korean food really tastes like. The atmosphere of the restaurant was great and the service was pleasant, I hope there will be improvements...
