K-BAB by Maehwa — Restaurant in Bratislava

Updating my review after re-opening to 5/5 stars:

The menu now has many more dishes to choose from and the prices now reflect the portions a bit better (considering that everything in Bratislava has become expensive 😂). The staff is super friendly and I hope they will start offering Korean non-alcoholic drinks in the future 🙏🏼 Fighting!

Original review from over a year ago: I really like their kimchi bokkeumbap/fried rice (not pictured) but I think it's a bit expensive considering the portion size (almost 11€ on Wolt).

Pictured are yache bibimbap, jjajangmyeon and fried chicken, I only tried yache bibimbap and I was a bit underwhelmed by it; my friends said the jjajangmyeon was delicious.

I wish there were more vegetarian options in the menu but I hope I'll be able to give the meat-based dishes a try as well,...

If you’re in Bratislava look no further than this Korean BBQ restaurant, it’s absolutely fantastic!! The food was incredible. Everything was super fresh and the dishes were delicious and beautifully prepared. The flavors were rich and authentic, just as Korean cuisine should be. One of the best parts was that we grilled the meat ourselves at the table, and the staff helped us a lot throughout the whole process. Since it was our first time at a Korean BBQ place, they explained everything patiently, showed us how to grill properly, and made sure we felt comfortable and taken care of. They were extremely friendly, welcoming and attentive.

Highly recommended if you’re looking for amazing food and outstanding service...

i simply can't say anything bad about this restaurant. it was just amazing! i went here with my friends and the experience was very pleasant. as soon as we arrived, we were greeted very nicely and sat down. the waiter was very nice and funny, he also reccomended to us some foods and brought us very tasty kimchi and seaweed as an appetizer. the food didn't take long to make, which was excellent since we were very hungry. i ordered bulgogi with rice and as you can see in the picture, it was served on a steel plate which was still hot to keep the meat warm! it was simply delicious, i almost cried tears of happiness while eating this. i will definitely come back to this...
