We went here for a drink and snack after cycling around the lake. My partner ordered one fresh orange juice which on the menu was priced at 1.80€. When the bill came we noticed we were charged twice for this, totally €3.60. We questioned this with the waitress who said that she gave us "a large glass, three times as much, but I only charged you two". We were confused by this as we ordered one drink, not two, and there was no mention of drink size on either the menu or from the waitress when we ordered. We had a bled cake which was stale, and the pastry was soggy and chewy. Clearly the orange juice trick is what they do to all visitors. We found this very cheeky, especially as when we questioned this with the waitress she casually said "I get this everyday". Clearly this is not acceptable and our experience was not isolated. We would not recommend this place,...
Read moreWe stopped here today for a late breakfast after arriving in this little beautiful town of Bled.
The place looks unique and weathered but inside is cute, warm and with ample seating for a cafe of this size.

We ordered the toast (later to find out it is ham and cheese toasties). Baked eggs, ham and egg x2 and a vanilla slice (or “snot block” as it’s affectionately known as in the Australian colloquial).
Amazing breakfast, fast and cheap. Ample meals with fresh eggs and bread. Great hot coffee and located within a literal stones throw of the lake.
Most definitely worthwhile the stop as we had five coffees, a juice, three full breakfasts and a toastie and cake for...
Read moreThis is a place with a very nice view. We had a good breakfast of sausages, bruscetta, cider and coffee. Toilet door was hard to close and there was no soap. This would be four stars. However we asked for a cake which we have seen on neighbouring tables. The waiter said that they serve these cakes to locals as a compliment. He was nice enough to offer to us for free. After we were done with our breakfast we haven't received the cakes and noone asked if we wish to have anything else. We asked after the promised cakes after some time - we received two which showed up on the bill at the end. Now, we don't expect free food or free service, so not having them is perfectly ok. We would have gladly paid for the cakes. But promising them and then billing them is...
