The View — Restaurant in Bled

Insanity! We were starving and thus ordered our food immediately. However, after 30 minutes we noticed that other guests (who came later than we did) were getting their food served. So we asked another waiter regarding the status of our order. He said that there is no food-order for our table. Outrageous.. he did not apologise or even seem to care in the slightest. This was a straight lie, because yet another waiter had brought us cutlery before, so they somehow received the signal ….. Mistakes happen and I don’t blame them for that, but you have to stand up to the mistakes you make. We visited this place last April 2024 and still wanted to share our experience. The food offers great value for the price. We dined in and ordered one meal each, but to our surprise, the portions were large enough to easily serve two people. I had the Alfredo pasta with shrimp for around 17 euros, and it was delicious.

The staff were incredibly nice, and they served complimentary bread with a dip that, while simple, tasted amazing, especially with the unlimited Parmesan cheese.

When my friend pointed out that they had forgotten to charge for part of our meal on the receipt, the staff were so appreciative that they gave us a free tiramisu cake. Overall, it was a wonderful experience! Highly...

Unfortunately, we did not have the best experience here. Yes, the view was amazing, hence the name of the restaurant but the location was all we liked about it. Also the bled cake was okay, I think. I haven't tried it anywhere else so I can't compare. The food was not well prepared, we found both meat and seafood raw. The waitress told us they were having a problem with the ordering system, maybe the net was down, because a plate on our table came later than all others and when we asked for the check I had to tell her again everything we ordered.
