Restaurant Arbor — Restaurant in Bled

Great restaurant with great food. Came with three friends, and no one had a single complaint. Service was a little slow (but super friendly). Seems like a family-owned restaurant with a few people running the show, and the food is cooked to order, so if you’re in a hurry you may need to look elsewhere (we were not in any hurry, just drinking in the gorgeous atmosphere). We had ravioli (which was the daily special), and it was super fresh, with a nice light cream sauce. We also had the schnitzel with French fries. Also amazing. One of their speciality dishes, the venison goulash, had great flavor (some of my friends were afraid the venison would be too gamey, but the seasoning was spot on with the flavor of the meat. Homemade bread and olive oil was served gratis. Really great spot. Had a partial lake view when seated outside....

This is a true magnificent surprise to us! Don’t be mislead by the not so nice place itself or way to get there (steps and other restaurants)! It is mystification 😉

The food is fresh, tasty and simply great relief from french fries, hamburgers, pizzas and hot-dogs served at the lake.

We were in 7 people, tried many things - tomatos soup was made of tomatoes (!), salad was fresh, home made dumplings were home made, meat in gulash was soft and tasty, souflet was perfect and the support was trully nice - not perfect, but nice and you can feel the local atmosphere. So when you are in Bled - do jot hestitate, go up beyond Park Hotel and you will be in a perfect Slovenian restaurant. Enjoy!...

Great variety of food offered when dining with kids. My husband and I had Slovenian dishes. I had the veal goulash (delicious) and my husband had the local sausage (would of been nice with a side of sauerkraut or veggies instead of garlic bread), having said that the sausage was very good. My daughter had the gnocchi and my son had a perfectly cooked steak with fries. They were very accomodating for kids which was really nice ! Great service and highly...
