Kozlovna Poštna — Restaurant in Maribor

I wish I could comment on the food and beer which I can imagine is not bad, but I have never ever experienced a more insulting, rude and vulgar service in my life. As we walked in and sat at a table, no-one tended to serve us and by kindly asking if they can clean the table where before there was a larger crowd, the young cocky waiter said we shall move to a different table and wait there. As we kept waiting on the table he started yelling across the restaurant if he was not clear and if we have problems understanding, and when we decided this is clearly below any belt line behavior and leave and told on the way out that they can be ashamed of the way they talk and act towards the customer, the guy started yelling and arguing that we shall leave if we have a problem and that he couldn’t give a shit less, calling us pigs and remaining aggressive. Other staff stood around and watched. I’ve never ever experienced worse attitude and lower level behavior in my life anywhere i’ve been in the world. Frustrated disgusting staff. Highly recommend to stay away from. For management - this was 22.02. 21:00- you should seriously question some people...

Kudos to Kozlovna Poštna! Very nice place, friendly ambient with great food & beer offer. We had a cold starter - a Kozlovna Pošta special chicken pate with sweet red cabbage. I highly recommend it. For main dish we shared some ribs (delicious!), hot dogs (also delicious!) and a pork knuckle (do I need to say, that it was delicious too?). For drink of the evening we chose "rezano" beer (see attached image) - it's a mixture of 3 different beers and each of them forms one colored layer. It looks sexy and also tastes...

having lunch here was a very pleasant experience, will definitely come again. the menu seems full of delicious dishes and based on what we had today, we simply must try more things out. would defs bring family and friends here too.

edit: since our first visit, we've ordered delivery from here several times and in true maribor fashion: if you order delivery over the weekend, chances are (very high) that there is something wrong with your order. in our case the food was so salty it was...
