Fynbos Shoppe Coffee Shop — Restaurant in George

The owner is rude and offencive and don't care if they serve bad food and don't care what people say about his food online. He told me so.! My daughter also witnessed this behaviour. We order 3 speciality dishes... 2x lam curry and one tomato stew. We got a small amount of meat of which 3/4's were fat and bones. I imformed him in a polite manner of this and I got a rude angry responce. The price per plate were R109 which is not nearly value for money. The meat were not lam but mutton. On his receipts it shows lam but this were most definately mutton. A decent chef and owner must make sure the quality of meat is good if you care and take pride in what you do. The owner's attitude were the worst. I will not recoment this place ever. Every one makes mistakes sometimes with food but a simple apollegy will go a far way. And by the way I had to pay full price for this sub...

If you are a big family or have children, go to Delfino's. We arrived at Fynbos coffee for a well planned family gathering. Saw on google good reviews. Was told by management we could not sit together, was told in so much words to find another place. We left immediately, went to "Delfino's seaside" and were warmly accepted. They even brought us more tables and we had GREAT food and a great waitress (Jana) Best of all - we saw another couple with small children that went to Delfino's too, they could not bring their small children into Fynbos, so...

I requested a table for 5 and despite being next to completely empty, the staff and manager could not make a plan for us. When I suggested that we move two tables together since more than half the restaurant was unoccupied, they said that they did not want to sacrifice the tables for us. They then suggested we sit outside, despite everything being wet from the rain. The service and manager were appalling and despite being offered numerous solutions, by the customer, they decided to sacrifice a 5 seater table. Snobbish...
