어가둥둥 Doong Doong — Restaurant in Seoul

My Korean friends brought me to their favourite spot near Hongdae, and I can see why. It’s in a quieter part of the area, which is nice to get away from the crowds.

The food was amazing! Everything I tried was so good! If I have to choose, the raw beef dishes were the highlight. Especially the “Mungtigi beef”, fresh out of butchery on the day itself and it’s only available in limited quantity each day! The “fish cakes” were also excellent! Dense, flavourful and perfectly chewy. You can really taste the quality and freshness in every dish. And also love their “Makgeolli with soy milk”!

Prices are very reasonable and the sleek, inviting decor makes it a comfortable place to enjoy a meal.

Definitely a must-visit! Can’t wait to be back here on my next...

What a find! This place nails the modern pocha concept. The decor is sleek and stylish, but the atmosphere is still super relaxed and fun. Their fishcake soup and mungtigi raw beef are the real stars here. We also tried their signature mandu and rice cake/fish cake ramen, and they were both top-notch. It's a perfect place to hang out, share some plates, and have a few drinks.

Can't wait to go back and try the rest...
