7 Oji-Yaki — Restaurant in Seoul

I gave 5 stars based on the service and tastiness of food I had ordered. My first meal in Seoul is this place based the reviews. And it is close to where I stayed. This place also accepts VISA credit card. Which is a big plus for someone did not exchange any Wons. The server did not speak any English, with google translator, it is easily communicated. I ordered the beef brisket and webfoot octopus bubimbap. They are both very tasty. The downside was too much fat on the beef. The lady waitress helped me to prep, cook and showed me the proper way of having Korean bbq. Side dishes are definitely less choices than in US. I believe the two restaurants are as one, because when I entered they are connected and same servers and chefs are servicing both dinning rooms. We always love Korean BBQ and try many restaurants every day during our full-week trip, this is the best among all! The food is very delicious and all comes with good portions. An elderly lady (A Jumma) always come to help grilling and teach us how to eat in Korean that we do not know the language but can understand her. Restaurant ambiance is so-so like you always see in Korean TV series where people gathering after works for social chitchat. I visited after Christmas in 2019 & was also a solo diner. I arrived close to closing after getting a bit lost. An awesome passerby, whom I asked for directions, helped me out by not only calling the restaurant, but also walked me there. I get lost easily & I'll forever be grateful for his acts of kindness. Upon arriving to the restaurant, I felt welcomed as I entered the door & the older lady that took care of my order was very friendly. I had bbq & naengmyeon.
