Chon — Restaurant in Seoul

Decent 한정식 (Korean style full course meal) restaurant in the Insadong (인사동) area of Seoul and fairly cheap starting at 20,000 원 for a good size meal and 복분자 is only 17,000 원. After walking around and looking for a nice restaurant, we decided on this one, but wished we tried another restaurant called 뉘조 which had better Naver reviews. Service was good, but it was a bit warm inside the restaurant and I got a few mosquito bites while having dinner. Dinner was okay, a lot of dishes that were a bit too sweet, but the seafood pancake and 가자미구이 (grilled flounder)...

Came here because my Korean friend recommended this place - said that it’s traditional Korean food.

Downside of this place is that you need to order 1 set per pax.

We ordered the 20k set (cheapest one). Anyway, the food tasted great! Though some we were not used to eating some of the side dishes (beans, kelps). Food tasted authentic and delicious! There was one soup (soybean stew) and bulgoggi, grilled sole (fish) and salad.

Tried the most expensive course meal. It's really greaaat, one of the cheapest in town but tastes really great. We're really full tho, so if you can't eat that much, don't order the most expensive one. Order the smaller courses. If i remember correctly the cheapest course is 16000 won and the most expensive one is 28000 won. But really you won't regret to have a full course korean...
