โ ๏ธBeware this outlet, just by drinking water and when order their tomato soup we should have free flow of coriander but only for this outlet the China lady service staff require us to pay for each personโs one-time charge of condiments (see my receipt). We have asked the service staff again if she could have make a mistake, she insisted must pay. She very sales oriented to confirm my familyโs usage of condiments. For 2 adults, yes we do eat so please charge but for kids drinking water and eating only coriander, this shouldnโt be charge.
HaiDiLao in Singapore, Malaysia, China etc I went before, never have any staff came to me insisted on paying condiment. I feel pressured, my hubby doesnโt want to create a sense. So we paid the bill.
In fact, above mentioned only happened to this outlet. I donโt feel warm welcome by this China lady staff. I feel the food here is much more expensive than in Singapore. We end up leaving fast, we went to the back of the alley to find Korea food insisted as we donโt feel like staying any longer.
So anyone of you planning to come here eat then check whether the condiments need to pay or not and be firm if you think itโs not right to charge. Overall food variety is not so much of choice. Soup taste for tomatoes and Tom Yum soup taste same in SG. I still prefer SG Plaza Singapura service, the managers really know how to make customer happy and very welcoming, I am regular HDL customer so I do feel this Korea outlet not same standard.
Overall Korea is expensive in food spending. Please bring more cash or you must use YouTrip / Revolute physical card to pay in Korea is safer.
This shop is less than 5 mins walk from train station Euljiro3. I lived at Stanford hotel and it is less than 5 mins walk too. Overall very good location.
For my experience, I wonโt be dining in this outlet again. I know HDL is never calculative to customer, so something wrong with this outlet or perhaps is the particular worker that donโt know how to work her customer-relationship well. Disappointing.

ย ย ย Read moreCame here around 11pm, took about 10min to get seated.
The lady who served us seemed to feel suddenly all tough and mighty due to the fact that I could speak mandarin, and spoke very arrogantly to me (reverse racism)
The food was quite tasty due to the quality of the soup and dipping sauces, but the beef didnโt seem to be very fresh as it could have been.
We got the half and half pot, and we noticed that the flame was not very strong and requested that it be turned higher but he staff claimed that it was already on max. We couldnโt be bothered arguing but did take note of the fact that one side without the spicy sauce wasnโt even boiling at all.
Overall very disappointed by the lack of service here when compared with the Hai Di Lao in China it is extremely below the proper standard.
The prices here are noticeably higher...
ย ย ย Read moreNot worth to visit. This is very much like Chinese Shabushabu place and their service is absolutely poor. Very small portion, ordered for 4 people but the portion was more like two people and still would be hungry. The people were working at reception have to be retrained or be sacked for sleazy service. We were supposed to be Waiting for 20 minutes but sitting there more than 40 minutes there was no sign of anyone paying attention so one of us has to go to talk to them. They literally tell everyone to wait 20 minutes but most of people behind us getting tables before us. They should have explained why we had to wait more time than others but no explanations. Would not...
