I travelled to this hotel with my husband two teenage children. Firstly, I have to say that the hotel is in a fantastic location! It’s in the centre of the hustle and bustle but not enough for it to be a bother. Getting to and from places was so easy and I’m so glad we chose this hotel purely for this location. ||I had to keep reminding myself that I was not staying at a five star hotel. We arrived in the afternoon heat and had to lug our luggage up the ramp whilst three members of staff looked on. On a basic human level, they weren’t even able to hold the door open for us to bring our suitcases in. ||Check in was quick and easy. As we walked towards our room, it was clear that there was an awful stench of damp in the corridors which was masked by overpowering air freshener. The combination of both smells wasn’t pleasant. ||Upon entering our room, the smell was so unpleasant that each of us had to walk straight out. I went and spoke to reception who said that they were at full capacity and cannot swap rooms. They said that they would come up and see if they could ventilate it whilst we went out to get something to eat. I had decided that if when I returned, the smell was still there, I would check out and look at alternative hotels. When we returned, the smell was significantly better but still lingered. They had fans blowing, the windows open and the AC on full blast with a staff key card. Each time we returned to the hotel, it would take a while to get used to the smell of damp that lingered in the room. We were only staying for two nights so decided to suck it up and stick with it. ||Our room was a good size with the children having their own room. The decor was really really dated and the bathroom was very tired. Housekeeping efforts upon check in and everyday were very different. The everyday clean was not great. The bed was very hard and bedding was of a questionable standard. ||I would not recommend this hotel for future guests. The three stars are purely...

There are a number of "Myeongdong Skyparks" properties in and around Myeongdong, and for our stay, it was Hotel Skypark Myeongdong 2. The hotel is conveniently located very near to the Eujiro (1)-ga station. Just beside it is its sister hotel, the Hotel Skypark Central Myeongdong. For those who took the breakfast option, the Central will be where you go to for the most important meal of the day. At the other end of the lane is the Myeongdong station, where Hotel Skypark Myeongdong 3 can be found. For those taking the bus from the airport, the bus stops outside of the Eujiro station. So, for anyone planning to book these hotels, these are your bearings. ||Being in Myeongdong means you are in the action capital of all of Seoul. You will never be short of options in terms of food, retail, recreation, entertainment and generally whatever. Why, the Myeongdong Cathedral is just up a turn from the hotel, if you want some spiritual uplift.||Room-wise, the space is a premium. We had two 28" luggage trolleys with us, and unfortunately, there is only enough space to have only one luggage open at a time. There will be some co-ordination to work out amongst yourselves when you are in the room. The beds are above average quality, so a good night's sleep is assured. The bathroom has a bathtub, which was a pleasant surprise because being able to lie and soak in hot water to relax your aching body at the end of a long day out is priceless. ||Similar to our hotel in Busan, the Skypark has chosen not to provide toiletries to their guests. But, you can buy it from the vending machine at the lobby.||Overall, we had a good stay at this property. Everything which we wanted from a hotel were met. Even the check-in and check-out was done within minutes, so, every box has...

I had booked 4 rooms at this hotel for our family of 11. The main reason we booked this hotel was for the excellent location though the rooms looked dated. I had booked through Agoda app and inspite of payment being done on time from our side and Agoda showing this booking as confirmed and paid for, the hotel cancelled on us without giving any reason 1 day before our check-in. We only came to know about the cancellation when we called to request them to give was adjoining rooms. It’s so disappointing that the hotel decided to cancel without reason and left was stranded in the last minute. The guys at Agoda were equally irresponsible to not have informed that the booking was cancelled. The Agoda app still shows our booking as active. Imagine if we hadn’t called the hotel 1 day before to check on something else, we would have arrived at this hotel with all our luggage and a bunch of tired n hungry kids only to know that we don’t have a booking. The hotel staff on phone were equally rude and said the booking was cancelled and dint even give us an option to book directly with them. It’s so disappointing. It’s one thing if a hotel is not up to our expectations but cancelling like this at the last minute is unacceptable. Hotel Skypark, is this how u are going to maintain ur reputation having so many hotels in Seoul? Would make sure no one we know would book with u. Together Agoda and you have left us really anxious on our vacation. We had to scramble in the last minute to get 4 rooms in...

Very disappointing and poor service - Part of my room cupboard fell off and 6 staff came and proposed to repair on the spot. We stopped them as it will be very dusty when they start to drill and the cupboard is near the bed! They proposed to move us up another floor but not my elderly mum and aunt's room. This is not an option for us as we initially booked 1 with 2 deluxe twin rooms so both rooms should move up together as we explained we need to take care of the elderly. Seriously it is a safety issue to their guests and they should consider any option including an upgrade as a nice gesture for failing to take safety measures. As a renowed hotel chain, they should have checked the room before allowing us to check in. We do not want to make a fuss as we are on holidays. The trigger point to make us negatively towards the service of the hotel was the booking for shuttle service. Even if it is a miscommunication, the way one of their hotel staff, Seong Woo Lee communicated to us was extremly rude! We are alarmed with the poor customer service attitude. He seriously needs to go for some training to improve his service level. He raised his voice at me and displayed immense unprofesionalism when i was merely making an inquiry to solve the issue. Guests entrust their holidays to stay with your hotel and should not leave feeling disappointed and unwelcomed.

Look at how tiny the room is, you wouldn’t be able to open your luggage at all. I was travelling alone, but book a room for 2 pax. It is completely unbelievable. It wasn’t what I paid for at all. Check-in was at Skypark Central. I kept shuttling between two hotels with my luggages as my first room was dirty and had no power plugs. I was told that I could not disconnect the plugs as it would cause the entire floor to not have WiFi and TV network, and if I needed to charge my items, please go to the lounge instead. Staff was so rude and shouted at me in public. When we could not reach a resolution, and everyone was staring at him (not me, as I was polite throughout), he threw my credit card on the floor. My credit card ended up with a crack. I had requested for his name through face to face and via email, to file a complaint with the police but no one responded to me. I ended up leaving and booked another different hotel (Nine Tree) on the same day which was so much better. It didn’t cost that much more and had a much better location, actually. All my Korean friends were so shocked by my treatment of Hotel Skypark II.

Hotel Review: Disappointing Stay Despite Promising Start The hotel’s location is undeniably excellent—close to key attractions and very convenient. Unfortunately, that’s where the positives end. The rooms were unbearably hot, even during winter, and there seemed to be no way to control the temperature effectively. It made for an incredibly uncomfortable stay, especially at night. While the check-in process was smooth and the staff were friendly at first, the service fell apart during off-hours. Any issues or requests made outside of standard times were met with unhelpful responses, if addressed at all. It felt as though the staff simply disappeared after a certain time. What began as a promising experience quickly turned into a frustrating ordeal. Until they address these significant issues, I can’t recommend staying here.
